But it makes sense for her to be a grandma; the Vault of Knowledge canonically represents the wisdom that comes with old age (every realm represents a stage of life). Vault elder is older than most of the others, but as a result, she’s probably the wisest of the bunch as well.
I just realized that valley probably only has 2 elders because who ever decided who gets to be elder got tired of hearing them fight over who it should be lol
I'm gonna say, the vault cutscene is underrated. When I saw what the constellations meant it blew my FREAKIN MIND. Then I saw that the friendship constellation actually meant something, then all the elders bow to you... dude it was incredible and worth literally losing the vault for a month or two

I honestly almost cried at vault cut scene, it was really touching and important, the emotions were so amazing, also I loved isle elder cuz he's the 1st elder and he was really cool to show us the way, just wanna give them big hug
The Golden Wasteland elder is probably my favorite, they’re just so BIG and STRONG and kind and persistent!! And they have an amazing mask!! Idk maybe it’s just because I like feeling protected, and they definitely make me feel safe :,)
Now that we're getting the lore more and more all the cut scenes actually means a lot nore and different. Like how possibly tye elder actually misused their powers, some even caused eden to break out, used the spirits of the nature and it's creatures to make peoples living better, basically trapping nature's energy in a way, but then realised that it was causing harm then tried to come up with a solution amongst themselves through meetings (in vault 2nd floor) but some had different views and ultimately they couldn't control it and eden was at risk, so now all the people are vanished and only the children of light can make things right. And you can see that at vault there's that sadness and guilt and seeking help from the skykid. These makes way more sense after abyss and shattering
I would love the hidden forest Elder if only they added to their cutscene at the end of them patting the players head just all like; "Am proud of you little bean"
My favorite elder overall is the Wasteland one because he seems like a very gentle guy when not in battle, he seems overwhelmed, tired and heartbroken. Very relatable.

Calm demeanor, the only one to sit down and ask you to come closer, making themselves more vulnerable and you more comfortable (because Elders are often 3≈5 times your height). Only one to avoid taking the light away from you, and let the child send it away. Bonus, every Elder is there. (Unpopular opinion: Forest Elder is considered "mom" and appreciated this much, mostly only is because she steals from, and lacks care for you; also, studies have shown that the parenting figures we cling to the most, are the ones that push us away. We react this way to compensate for the lack of care from the other member, in hopes of keeping the bond, having more care from them, and surviving. Evolution is cruel.)
