I had a similar experience but at times I would get hit by the rocks and they would be apologizing so much that I found it cute. I also made the experience more dramatic then it is like saying we are destined to die. We just kept laughing the whole way up there haha

I use to like taking moths to eden but 80% just get mad over losing stars even though I warned them 😭 one of them said all their hard work into collecting them is gone. I explained to them about the ascension candles but they said it’s too complicated and it’ll take too long then they quit playing. After that I no longer enjoy bringing moths to eden, feels like it’s my fault that they stopped playing
One veteran literally flew me all the way through Eden on my first successful run and then doubled back before the no-turning-back point, probably to help other moths. What a guy
Yaaaaaaas I think there was a moment when he said "do you have friends?", I'm like "no" And the next thing he said "I can be your friend" (I almost cried) I don't know, maybe I don't think it was. In any case, I really enjoyed the tasks with this guy, but at the same time I felt a little sad, because my only friend at the moment is a playable character.

The first time i went into eye of eden a veteran took me unil the foot of the mountain before the no turning back door, after which i entered there was another group of 4 or 5 guided by another veteran that guided us until the end, made my first time alot easier and pleasant i suppose? Thank you random chibi veteran that held my hand
That’s sorta what I would do with moths. Don’t think that could have been me as I don’t usually wear the chibi mask. But if it was that would be a funny coincidence 😂 usually if I take a moth I also take a campfire so before they go into the no return bit, I sit down and explain with them what they have to do when they’re in there if I can’t go with them.

One month old moth here, I enjoy Eden too! I do it weekly. The only part I hate is that very last stretch in the third area with the krill because the winds are way too strong, but I heard they’re fixing that in the next update :) Edit: nvm I think I misunderstood. They’re fixing the last part with the constant falling red rocks, not the last part with the krill. Uh oh :,)

I did that too, except that my reason was because I realized that I needed to do all the process again just for gaining new items and cosmetics through game, and also that you needed to interact with people for a lot of things (social anxiety). At the 3:00 I remembered my first experience with Sky. Just went to the Isle of Dawn, didn't even enter the cave - got stuck in the water under the isle, panicking and not knowing how to get out. Later my veteran friend said that happened due to bad internet connection with the server, but it gave me such a big spook lol
I’m decent coordination and actually has friends lol 😂 I learned a lot from the element trials it really taught me how to control my character and use it more effectively.
I was a solo player (still am ) but i friended a solo veteran unknowingly now her name is guppy and mine is gremlin i love hanging out with her ! (•ᴗ•)

I could say im a veteran because I literally started playing at the game release on iPhone (luckily) but I didn’t play every saison, especially the old one because I didn’t even knew it was temporary spirit x) and I stoped playing many months at the beginning so… I was not as advanced as people who started from the beginning :’) but I recently started playing everyday so I can finally unlock most of the stuff from the old travelling spirit :) I also didn’t have really old friends (I didn’t really remember the first that I’ve made) and I usually don’t see them enough to actually become closer 😅 but anyway, I always like to meet people and interact (even more with emote which is less stressful than messages for me i guess)
@@jey1137 you should read up on how supply and demand works. If everyone is given access to Ultimates, the demand/price for it will drop substantially. The Ults are craved because aside from getting the pass you need to be active at least 2/3rd of the season to get them without spending more money and on top of that they'll never come back. Without these factors involved, no one will be willing to pay even 60 USD for ultimates, forget 600 lol. exclusive and time limited cosmetics are very common across all games and developers need to show faith/loyalty towards old players because like it or not, the survival of the games depend on it. Sky has a very low retention rate beyond few months (just add moths and you'll see how many go inactive in a month) and old players make the world of sky feel more rich and unique at the same time. P.S if vets are bitter then you are being a crybaby, exclusive items are a part of gaming culture and for good reasons. get on with it.

I also assume TGC knows basic math so they are aware what they need to be doing to earn more. player bases don't like greedy developers and making rash moves could hurt their bottomline in other ways, their earnings are not 9.99 USD per season, there are events with lots of IAPs. there are players who buy regular or SS candles on a regular basis, I have friends who wear the ultimate gifts the day the season starts. There are different sources of revenue that your basic math doesn't take into consideration. You also talk as if 10 USD a player is nothing lol. they're a small company meaning less expenses involved and sky itself is not a very heavy duty game, they reuse same patterns and models and landscapes across different maps all the time, it's not that demanding. 2. How do you suggest they bring back ultimates? it takes at least 40/50 days of daily farming seasonal candles to aside from the pass to get those ultimate gifts. Unless you are willing to spend even more of course. There is also the promise from developers that they will not bring those back and people paid money behind that promise. You want them to break that promise? well they already did when they started bringing travelling spirits. But guess what, the veteran players actually let that pass. In other games old players would have sued the developers for cheating them out of their money under false promises. the veterans actually being nice in the sense that their threats revolve around quitting, bringing back ultimate gifts are going to be a serious breach of trust. 3. If having exclusive items made games ___. then literally 99% of the games out there are _____. idk what games you play if the concept of exclusive items is so foreign to you. good luck even bringing up this topic in other gaming communities. 4. When I started there was also lots of cosmetics that had already been in the game and will never return. Also, I didn't have 100s of cosmetics the day I started playing, I've been playing for over a year and slowly collected them. and there are more cosmetics coming every season. If players are gonna quit because TGC isn't handing them over old cosmetics players worked months to get on a silver platter to you, then they are very much welcome to quit, these players would not have lasted in a game like this anyway. 5. I never once said cosmetics don't matter, neither am I trying to convince anyone they don't. so why are you bringing that up with me? but I will add there are lots of things to do in the game instead of caring ONLY about cosmetics. but I digress, this isn't relevant to what I said.

I was there when the game first started so I have every cosmetic from the oldest seasons, but then I stopped playing for a few years 😂 so now I’ve got this huge gap of cosmetics/emotes/etc I’ve missed out on. And there’s some old friends I feel like I’ll never see online again. But It’s been nice to revisit the game now. I’m super impressed with the updates they’ve made.

Hey, tis me. Back again to say I've been playing for 5 months now and almost know this game perfectly. Ofc theres still things I don't know, but im a really good flier now. And im still friends with those 3 veterans who raised me. They introduced me to some of their other friend's and we're a really big friend group now, almost big enough to fill an entire instance if we were all playing together. At the 3:00 I remembered my first experience with Sky. Just went to the Isle of Dawn, didn't even enter the cave - got stuck in the water under the isle, panicking and not knowing how to get out. Later my veteran friend said that happened due to bad internet connection with the server, but it gave me such a big spook lol

As a moth, I love watching those out of bound chibi players and all the shortcuts they take 😂 I’ve just gotten the chibi mask myself so I can’t wait to attempt this on my own
I could say im a veteran because I literally started playing at the game release on iPhone (luckily) but I didn’t play every saison, especially the old one because I didn’t even knew it was temporary spirit x) and I stoped playing many months at the beginning so… I was not as advanced as people who started from the beginning :’) but I recently started playing everyday so I can finally unlock most of the stuff from the old travelling spirit :)
I also didn’t have really old friends (I didn’t really remember the first that I’ve made) and I usually don’t see them enough to actually become closer 😅 but anyway, I always like to meet people and interact (even more with emote which is less stressful than messages for me i guess)
I joined during enchantment but feel like ill never be a veteran without hoot hoot hair 🥺

@@jey1137 you should read up on how supply and demand works. If everyone is given access to Ultimates, the demand/price for it will drop substantially. The Ults are craved because aside from getting the pass you need to be active at least 2/3rd of the season to get them without spending more money and on top of that they'll never come back. Without these factors involved, no one will be willing to pay even 60 USD for ultimates, forget 600 lol. exclusive and time limited cosmetics are very common across all games and developers need to show faith/loyalty towards old players because like it or not, the survival of the games depend on it. Sky has a very low retention rate beyond few months (just add moths and you'll see how many go inactive in a month) and old players make the world of sky feel more rich and unique at the same time.
P.S if vets are bitter then you are being a crybaby, exclusive items are a part of gaming culture and for good reasons. get on with it.

I am outlining the points with numbers so it's easier for you to grasp.
1. I also assume TGC knows basic math so they are aware what they need to be doing to earn more. player bases don't like greedy developers and making rash moves could hurt their bottomline in other ways, their earnings are not 9.99 USD per season, there are events with lots of IAPs. there are players who buy regular or SS candles on a regular basis, I have friends who wear the ultimate gifts the day the season starts. There are different sources of revenue that your basic math doesn't take into consideration. You also talk as if 10 USD a player is nothing lol. they're a small company meaning less expenses involved and sky itself is not a very heavy duty game, they reuse same patterns and models and landscapes across different maps all the time, it's not that demanding.
2. How do you suggest they bring back ultimates? it takes at least 40/50 days of daily farming seasonal candles to aside from the pass to get those ultimate gifts. Unless you are willing to spend even more of course. There is also the promise from developers that they will not bring those back and people paid money behind that promise. You want them to break that promise? well they already did when they started bringing travelling spirits. But guess what, the veteran players actually let that pass. In other games old players would have sued the developers for cheating them out of their money under false promises. the veterans actually being nice in the sense that their threats revolve around quitting, bringing back ultimate gifts are going to be a serious breach of trust.
3. If having exclusive items made games ___. then literally 99% of the games out there are _____. idk what games you play if the concept of exclusive items is so foreign to you. good luck even bringing up this topic in other gaming communities.
4. When I started there was also lots of cosmetics that had already been in the game and will never return. Also, I didn't have 100s of cosmetics the day I started playing, I've been playing for over a year and slowly collected them. and there are more cosmetics coming every season. If players are gonna quit because TGC isn't handing them over old cosmetics players worked months to get on a silver platter to you, then they are very much welcome to quit, these players would not have lasted in a game like this anyway.
5. I never once said cosmetics don't matter, neither am I trying to convince anyone they don't. so why are you bringing that up with me? but I will add there are lots of things to do in the game instead of caring ONLY about cosmetics. but I digress, this isn't relevant to what I said.

And there’s some old friends I feel like I’ll never see online again. But It’s been nice to revisit the game now. I’m super impressed with the updates they’ve made.

Hey, tis me. Back again to say I've been playing for 5 months now and almost know this game perfectly. Ofc theres still things I don't know, but im a really good flier now. And im still friends with those 3 veterans who raised me. They introduced me to some of their other friend's and we're a really big friend group now, almost big enough to fill an entire instance if we were all playing together. I'm happier now, playing on sky than I have been in years and I know no one really cares but I just needed a place to just rant about how happy I am ♡
