But then all these random chatters just join in on it & start dogpiling just so they can be in on the joke. To each individual, they only said it once or twice. But for Lars, he literally sees/hears it hundreds of times a day probably. So yes, there is a difference, and it's a meaningful one even if it isn't obvious at first glance.
