The melody is always the most important part of a piece --- because when played correctly, the melody is what shines above everything else in a piece.
But piano players are often frustrated by the contrast between the beautiful melody they hear in their head and the shaky and uneven melody that is actually coming out of their fingers.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
There are simple steps that you can take (including one of my FAVORITE Revolutionary Practice Method) to make your melody sound as beautiful as possible.
    When you follow these steps:
    your melody will sound beautiful
you’ll be able to play it with more accuracy and more flow
it won’t take you a lot of time to get it to sound better than it does now
In today’s tutorial, I break down these 3 steps and I show you, using a real musical example, exactly how to practice these 3 steps so that you can make your melody sound as beautiful as possible NOW.
Are you ready to elevate your piano melodies to a whole new level? Don't miss out on this transformative tutorial.

One of my favorite methods to practice when you have melody and accompaniment in the same hand is play it with two hands. So put the main melody in your right hand and the lower accompaniment in your left hand. Keep doing this until you have the correct dynamic levels. Then when you put it back to just your right hand, your brain synthesizes it and is able to replicate what you did when you split it into to hands. My teacher use to call this 2 for 1. Very helpful.

Oh I love that a lot! Thank you for that - I might have to use that with students and perhaps in a future video! Who would I give credit to?! Haha great idea!

I'm not sure exactly how one would get that 2 for 1. I hope you do a video on that, Ashlee 🎹

Ashlee I watch YT videos mostly on a big screen TV. Lately I see your Google ad pop-up alot on some of my fav channels. It is the ad about your sight reading course. But on TV's there is no link. I suggest adding your name or channel on screen for those interested so they can find your course to purchase. Otherwise it's a wasted expensive ad. The reason I know who you are is because I'm a subscriber and watch your awesome videos. Just a suggestion : )

The "Moonlight" melody is difficult because the right hand is also playing the accompaniment. Could you isolate the melody, for example, in a Mozart sonata?
