This Qashqai J10 1.5 DCI, came to me running, but would not start from the key, only if push started...
As was being dropped, started to loose power steering, and ABS light started flashing, eventually becoming permanently on...
In the end, all issues causes by the same problem...😊

Thank you very much because I had exactly same problem. I informed my mechanic he came and temporarily started it by touching the broken wire and I drove it to the garage to get it repaired.

Thanks pal same problems with mine and went today I assumed it was the starting motor and left it parked up until everywhere’s open tomorrow but now I can check that out before jumping the gun

bit of a tip mate i have the same car and the earth strap inside the passenger wheel arch was also shot on mine hope that helps

Hi I’ve just had the same problem,turned the key so the ignition lights come on then nothing,the problem was the starter motor failed which then sent all the power down the negative/earth strap which connects to the body and gearbox.this burnt out and snapped 😢new starter motor £85 and earth cable from Nissan £86😢after fitting my car runs like new and starts straight away 🎉hope this helps,great video this like.

Hi! I'm getting kinda desperate so I wanted to check in with you for an advice because you've handled couple of j10's with 1.5DCI engine. I have exactly the same engine in my Qashqai, it is 2007 Tekna Plus model - I've owned it for a year and within that year car stopped running 4 times. What happens is that I am casually driving fine, and all of a sudden I get ESP OFF and a red check engine light - I usually park it, turn if off and on, error clears out and I drive away fine. But sometimes, that isn't the case. It just stops, loses complete power - it cranks but it doesn't start.
I have taken it to 4 different mechanics and had high pressure sensor replaced, ESP module replaced, fuel filters replaced, fuel regulator and cleaning of the system done. ESP OFF and Red Check Engine has returned yesterday indicating that it will die again soon in the future.
Do you have any advice on what to check? Please and thank you!
First of all, the codes... live data, etc...
Difficult to advise without checking, but replacing parts like that, does not make much sense...
@@LMAutoRepairs The only code that I was told by a mechanic was P089, rest didn't say anything - just what part they replaced that was faulty. :(

P089 is not a full p code... there is a number missing...
P codes should have 4 digits (can also be leters) after the p...

Hello sir!!can you please tell me which power supply unit do you use when you do a programming or flashing??there are too many from very cheap to very expensive and I ask you because you do programming very often and you don't be a seller to say this is the best etc. And if you use the same for charging and what do you use for efb and agm batteries for charging. Thank you very much looking forward for your answer!! Best regards!!

Yes I know, for programming you should use proper battery maintainer...
I have looked into get one, but difficult to justify based of the amount of times I would use it...
If you do programming often, that's different...
I would say, buy the best you can afford...
There is some nice ones around £300
