I was at that concert, near the front of the stage. When the shots rang out, I thought it was coming from the crowd. I started to think it was gun shots after I saw people running and saying, "IT'S NOT A FIREWORK!" or things of that nature. Soon, the guy a few feet of me was actually shot. As I started running, I also got shot twice. I was brought to a makeshift hospital and soon got aid. This is the same for those officers distracting the suspect, drawing his attention - the people in the crowd also would have faced the same outcome, including me. May all those who perished rest easy. This was a real story. Quite a horrifying experience, and I was a real victim in this shooting.

thats true. also the environment makes a huge difference too. i was firing an air rifle that shoots pellets at super sonic speeds in my basement and it was so loud i was afraid it would sound like gun fire so i stopped shooting those lighter weights indoors. i take the same gun outside and fire into a open field and you cant hardly hear it. as there is little for the sound to bounce off of and back at me. walk down to where there was corn and then i could hear the sound bouncing off the corn and back at me loud again.
Omg your rite!! i know the difference between gun fire and firecrackers some people don't know the differences. And people need to be educated so they can get to safety .🙂
@@jasonbrown467 True, most people don't realize that there are actually two distinct noises when a gun is fired. The 1st is the loud BANG of the gunpowder igniting and the 2nd is the CRACK of the bullet breaking the sound barrier, essentially a small sonic boom. The sound of an automatic gun being fired at a distance can easily be mistaken for a string of firecrackers, especially for someone unfamiliar with guns or someone at place like Las Vegas where fireworks are really common.

I was at that concert, near the front of the stage. When the shots rang out, I thought it was coming from the crowd. As I started running, I also got shot twice. I was brought to a makeshift hospital and soon got aid.
If it wasn't for Campos and Engineer Schuck, there would have been more casualties and more injured. Without them distracting the shooter, the suspect would've kept mag dumping the crowd. This is the same for those officers distracting the suspect, drawing his attention - the people in the crowd also would have faced the same outcome, including me. thats true. also the environment makes a huge difference too. i was firing an air rifle that shoots pellets at super sonic speeds in my basement and it was so loud i was afraid it would sound like gun fire so i stopped shooting those lighter weights indoors. i take the same gun outside and fire into a open field and you cant hardly hear it. as there is little for the sound to bounce off of and back at me. walk down to where there was corn and then i could hear the sound bouncing off the corn and back at me loud again.
@@jasonbrown467 ur right
Omg your rite!! i know the difference between gun fire and firecrackers some people don't know the differences. And people need to be educated so they can get to safety .🙂
You can also listen to the bullet fly past or hear the bullet shel hit the ground if close enough
Tbh, this might have been the best documentary i have ever seen. No shitty and needless details, just pure, undeniable facts
Every time I have it recommended I always watch it. It’s super well made. I’ve watched it like 5 times since when it first came out.
@@Daniel-om4ce Same, it's an amazing documentary. 0 Bullshit, 0 Theories, just how the situation happened.
@@Daniel-om4ce I wanted more details...
@@cressetcreeper2063 To this day bo one knows why he did it. Honestly this shooting stinks more than anything in recent history.
no dramatic blinks either 🙄
This is one of the most chilling things I’ve ever watched. The gunshots raining down and you have no idea where they are coming from. RIP to those poor people.
Brando how is that disrespectful? He’s saying poor because they never deserved this.
Brando You have interpreted my comment incorrectly. When I said “poor people”, I meant it was sad this happened to them. I didn’t mean “poor” as in having no money.

@Brando how can you not understand what he said
Brando
Your comment is the type of comment that people look for in LongBeachGriffy videos.
Who ever is watching this in 2020 is a real one and will always remember this tragic day
I’m watching this right now and I’m crying
We are having a much bigger tragedy right now.but you can't hear about it, it's about Syrian people who are killing right now.number of them are a lot more of this attack . so if you cry , it's better to cry for those who are killing at the moment, the past is the past .the key is what you are going to do for alives who will die soon .
Such a dumb comment. I can’t even fathom the stupidity that you embrace.

Made me tear up. These officers did an AMAZING job great job our fighters in blue💙🖤💙🖤💙🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@PurdyGirl63 In this case. I fail to see much of anything law enforcement did that should be considered acceptable or effective, let alone amazing. In regards to responding to the threat, they literally had zero to do with confronting the suspect, ending the attack, or keeping anyone safe. Once the attacked had ended, they seriously failed to do their job of conducting a proper investigation.) I do thank every single officer who responded to scene. Putting yourself in the line of fire in an attempt to rescue others is the most brave and honorable thing a person can do, and we should all be grateful that such people exist. But in this case the law enforcement agencies involved have very, very little to be proud of.
