Wow!! And you were standing for most of this. Thank you for sharing your expertise. I'm so impressed and envious. I hang on to your coattails for the creative ride. God bless and keep you safe. Keep teaching and sewing.
I've been going back over some of your past tutorials and came across this and really liked it. When I first saw it I thought the stem was made with a seam from blue jeans. My plans are to make something similar with some small fabric pcs i have from the 1930s
Thank you! I have always liked the look of applique. Tried machine applique once and ran out of time in the class before I got the hang of it. I really need to try again and be nice to me. I might prefer your other methods.
Whilst upcycling a shirt I accidently made a small hole in the main front piece, was wondering how to fix it , thanks to your video I can fix it and give my shirt a nice flower or something which will make it even better. Lovely clear instructions and alternatives ways of doing applique, many thanks.
You make it seem so easy! Thank you for the time you spend with us.
I love the way you offer a range of techniques and demonstrate them so clearly. Thank you very much
Thank you so much. I never thought of cutting 2 pieces and sewing right sides together then turn. It will make everything easier!!
Enjoyed your tutorial today, you make it look easy.

I use dryer sheets that have already been used instead of interfacing.
Great tip!
Good tutorial on applique and interfacing! I did my first heart machine applique for the Home Is block 1. A hot mess but it will do!!
I blanket stitch my raw edge
