See now this is what I personally prefer. You have stock which you can't hear anything at all. You have loud (straight piped) with lots of drone and noise. And then you have something in middle like what you have here where you can hear it when you get on it, sounds good, but cruising on the freeway you don't hear much so it doesn't get annoying on road trips. That's what I try to look for.
I think the Thrush welded has a nice quality sound that you can 100% hear at an idle and when going down the road. When you take off it has a nice aggressive yet in control sound and best yet it doesn't echo in the cab once you are up to speed and cruising. I recommend the 2 1/2" for longer wheel base and a 3" for single cab short beds.
The 5.3L is a fairly quiet engine in stock form. We did a muffler delete on my buddies 2009 with the 5.3L and it is quieter than my 2006 6.0L is with the flowmaster Original 40 series. I use to have a 1999 with the 5.3L and we put a glass pack and a dump on it and it was still fairly quiet too.
The thrush welded Muffler is purely underrated. I have true duals on my 98 Chevy 1 ton with two thrush welded mufflers and you should hear that thing cackle. Has a nice mellow Lope but boy howdy get on it and listen to her sing.
I just bought one of these based on your video. it is surprisingly quiet but it does have that throaty sound to it. it is kind of nice. thank you. I installed mine on a 1987 chevy r10 pickup with a 305 engine.
Hush thrush, adds the back pressure needed in vehicles. When you need the back pressure for passing, it's there. These mufflers on mopars make them sound even meaner than they are. On a Chevrolet pickup, when down shifting, it makes it sound like a cat diesel
Thanks for posting this and the other video ("Before and after"). Because of your videos of this muffler, I decided I'll put this on my 1990 GMC Sierra. I am impressed with how this sounds - a classic V-8 rumble but not loud. Exactly what I'm looking for.
Heyyy Wisconsin plates!! I actually have a thrush welded sitting in my shed which i planned to use on my 99 silverado, great video I'm excited to get mine in now
I went with Flowmaster mufflers and I had duel exhaust from the factory anyways but with the Flowmaster mufflers going into 4 inch chrome slash cut ends it has that rumble when idling or when you drive its super deep. Love my sound.
I hear ya Bro.....i have a 88 Silverado tbi 350 Flowmaster single in dual out super 10 with 10 inch rolled slash tips... i love the sound i get........Flowmaster Nation.
Hey man you made a great video. I'm installing mine tomorrow, I'm going to instal it in the same spot except it going to have dual drop downs at the outlet of the muffler to make it a little louder. Thanks for the great video.
I put these mufflers on my 04 6.0 Silverado and they sounded pretty good, they were pretty loud and droned a bit. I then removed the cats because they were plugged and then holy hell, they were so stupidly loud and sounded absolutely terrible. Almost anything off idle was clapping and it was so loud. If I had a trailer on the truck then innocent bystanders would stop what they were doing to look up and see what that obnoxious noise coming down the street was lol
Your pipes should always go OVER your outlet not into them. I personally did this on a different car this weekend and would recommend this muffler to anybody, does not sound like rice and is not too loud!
I have a thrush turbo tri flow 2.5 inch in and out, it's a 3 chambered muffler, going to replace it with a flowmaster 40 Wich is a 2 chambered muffler, 04 sierra 5.3L, thrush does sound good but to me, I think flowmaster 40 has a more smooth rumble like a nice growl.
If you don't want to 'bugger' weld the large gaps of available adapters, or don't have a welder at all....the adapter you need is 2.75" ID to 3" OD. The problem with this is that all the national auto parts stores refuse/conspire to not carry that particular adapter! Even though the full size GM pickups & SUV's (the most sold vehicles in the country) & use a 2.75" pipe. The exhaust manufactures do NOT want you replacing your own muffler on these vehicles.
I have a 90 Eldorado with a welded thrush performance muffler on it, I'll upload a vid to my channel tomorrow, come by and take a listen, they sound better then flowmaster in my opinion, more depth and throaty, Flowmaster used to be my go to, but after trying Thrush I was won over and discarded flowmaster for ever, Thrush are not only better sounding, but more better priced This one sounds absolutely Great on your truck
When I was a kid we sprayed water up the tailpipe. That’s what the old timers told us. It breaks up the fiberglass. It got louder after I did that. I can’t explain it better than that. It was a a Thrush Turbo. There was another one they made that sounded a lot like yours. It was a Thrush Hush. Do know if they still make those or not.
Greetings from Wisconsin and GO PACK GO! I have this on my MX-5 and a flowmaster 50 on my F-150 and they both sound great. The super 40 is too loud and the super 10 is "were you even trying". The thrush on my 1.8L sounds like it is modified but not so loud that you would get pulled over for it.
Man you got the setup. I am trying to put my borla muffler (3 inch) in with clamps and I cut the hanger in front of the muffler because I just don't trust a clamp with that little to grab on too (welder would be nice for that). I did not use a 2 3/4 adapter just tried to clamp it directly to the stock exhaust. Well anyway, broke the clamp from cranking on her too much because she still had air leaks so should of got an adapter probably. I don't know if I should blame the Chinese made clamp or me for not using an adapter because I got away with closing about 1/4 inch gap difference on my moms van between pipes and it has no leaks. Should of took it to a muffler shop. Plus here in ohio all it does is rain so everything is a freaking mess if you don't have a garage......sucks
this muffler is exactly like the original 40 series. if you google these 2 muffler images and place them side by side, they are almost the exact muffler. the only difference is one is 10'' and the the thrush is 9.5''
+jasonneal From the outside they may look similar but the inside is what makes the sound. This muffler is not like the 40 series Flowmaster. It's a lot quieter than the 40 series. On take off and driving the muffler is just a little louder than the stock muffler. Reving it does sound nice. Very quiet in the cab with no resonance.
i promise you that the thrush welded chambered muffler is almost the exact same muffler as the flow master original 40's. google both and click on image and look at the open muffler image. its the same. the only difference is the size and its only a 1/2 inch. they had to do that so flow master couldn't sue them
the reason your muffler is not that loud is bc first off, you have stock cats, also your exhaust is one pipe from the cat to the back. and you didn't put on a larger exhaust tip. the tip will add a little more volume, just like a mega phone effect. I have these same mufflers on my 87 chevy truck,
+jasonneal I had a set of 40 series on an 81 Chevy th-cam.com/video/KXz7sqr5SqQ/w-d-xo.html . I have had many exhaust systems on various trucks. This Thrush muffler has the sound of an 80 series Flowmaster. Nowhere near what a 40 series Flowmaster. I had a 50 series Flowmaster on a 96 chevy truck. Cats were still in place and the truck sounded amazing. That truck had the 5.0 V8. You could actually hear the exhaust from the outside but it wasn't annoying loud. This muffler has almost no sound except when you rev the truck up parked.
then explain why thrush my truck sounds exactly like my other truck that has the original 40's on it. I bought the trush just for that reason bc the were $40 cheaper. Also did you google the image of both of the mufflers? They look exactly the same to me. also the 80's series is the Camaro and firebird application. Not even close to what you have
Was thinking you cauldron probably turn the pipe a little sideways to weld the top on at least the inside weld. Good tips though. I just started welding today lol. And your right you can't weld it, if you can't see it!
mossman381 these are great mufflers to upgrade when you dont want loud mufflers or are going back to stock but dont want to pay so much for stock mufflers i had one in my 06 4.8 tahoe and it sounded quiet so close to stock im running a super10 with dual turndowns and the drone is almost unbearable so i might go back to a turbo style muffler
+jeffrey aguilar I agree, it's a good stock muffler replacement. You can rev it up and it sounds good but then it's quiet. I need more noise than this muffler gives off. A super 10 is a race muffler.
I got a set of cheap long tube headers off eBay that came with a y pipe that has no cats it looks like it does but it's empty but I still have the stock muffler and am looking for someone with more flow but not to much louder but loosing the weight and opening it up is what I'm looking for
@Nimbus Nimbus I believe it is like 2.5 or 2.75 inch and it was advertised as stainless and it probably is but a lesser grade and it bolts up to the rest of the stock pipes it was a cheap kit off eBay
@Nimbus Nimbus ya I'm not to worried about it I got it because the cats or 1 was clogged and it did not really sun and they were under $300 for all of it I just figure as quiet as the stock muffler is it has to be restrictive and it's huge so drop a couple pounds and eventually I'll do something with the trans and then a cam
If you have this muffler on a 2000 silverado 5.3L with no cats, its alot louder & has alot of drone too, doesnt sound all that great, when you rev it, it starts cackling/crackling/whatever you call it and its annoying. Took it off and got a dynomax superturbo #17758 muffler single in dual out and its alot quieter but it has a good performance sound.
I put two of these on my 98 Tahoe and after a month one of them started ticking from what I believe was a loose internal weld on one of the chambers. Very cost effective but flow master is better quality. Just my opinion though 🇺🇸
@@jonboatmorava9115 It's not easy to measure it, until you have cut the muffler off. Then your driving around w/o the muffler, desperately trying to find an adapter that fits! Would have been MUCH easier to just list the adapter.
I know the answer, wondering if you did? The exhaust companies don't want people doing their own mufflers, so they don't offer the correct adapter! 3"od to 2.5"id !!! You look like you butt welded 3 to 3" which can't be used w/ a clamp.
there nothing else at that time I even tried reversing the muffler against the flow pattern clearly marked so I returned it and went with a cherry bomb 12 inch glasspack
Have you ever tried any exhausts from Summit? I put them on my trucks and I absolutely love them. Not too loud but not quite either and has a great sound!
how the drone down the road im think of puting either that or a dynomax ultra flo. i know i like the dynomax because my dad has a ultra flo x on his chevy 6.0l.
Did the offset in center out work good when you installed it? Did you have any problems getting the pipes to line up? I am almost about to pull the trigger on a super 10 offset to center muffler after watching your vids.
+S Y Not really sure. This was done awhile ago. I just opened the muffler up at the auto parts store and bought a few adaptors that I thought would work.
sounds good. :) when ur welding with the helmet can u look right at the bright lights? im still learning how 2 weld. i might be fireing up my welder at some point 2 start makeing my ramps 4 my x724 mower deck.
***** Yes, with the helmet you can look right at the weld. Mine is an auto darkening one. I use the shop light to be able to see to start the weld. Pretty dark under the truck and if you can't see you can't weld :)
Sounds great. That is baffling to me (no pun intended) because I have a Thrush Welded on my 86' Ramcharger with a 360/4v and it is loud as shit. 2 1/2" down pipes to a 2 1/2" dual into 3" single Magnaflow "Y". This goes into the same muffler as Mossman381's and exits out of a OEM diesel 3" tailpipe.
This is a Thrush muffler. Similar to a Flowmaster but not the same. Not sure what it will sound like on a Durango. Should sound similar I would think but you never know until you try a muffler.
I put a Jeg's knockoff version of the Flowmaster 40 on my 2002 4.7 Durango and it sounds damn good. Doesn't drone and is very deep and mean sounding inside. It's loud enough outside so that people hear you coming, but not obnoxious at all.
I don't like putting any mufflers on a V6. They just don't sound good to me. It was pretty quiet with no drone in the cab so if that is what you are looking for then this would be a good muffler. I have not put one of these on a 4.3.
@Nimbus Nimbus the whole back of the damn muffler blew out......I'm not drilling a hole in my muffler......I swapped it out with a quality ss muffler from another brand
@Nimbus Nimbus tell me why all exhaust are not made with a hole then? The point of my post is do not buy thrush. I've had other universal mufflers with no "hole" in them last years
@Nimbus Nimbus your are the one trolling this thread crying and trying to defend thrush for their cheap knock off mufflers. Making excuses saying you need to drill a hole in a perfectly good exhaust because you don't believe water will evaporate in a hot exhaust.
So everyone here is about trucks. I like my stock muff for my ram1500 sxt but I wanna get this muffler for my sons maxima, it's on the 3.0 v6... would this sound good or would it be quiet?
+krauser979 A performance muffler will give you a slight power increase. You probably won't feel it. If you want any kind of real power gains you need to do a complete mandrel bent exhaust system. This muffler was put in only for sound.
my opinion. this is my way of thinking, anything you can do to minimise restrictions in putting the air to the engine and letting it out, you will gain hp, or save gas (if you dont step on the trotle some more because you like the new sound) the lest effort your engine makes to suck and exaust its air, the better.
is it legal in your state to do any modifications to your exhaust? it's a BIG no no where i'm from. cops will give you a huge fine! btw, i think it sounds great, and i wish i had a shop like you have!
davidgriffin14 Here in Wisconsin they don't have strict exhaust laws. In my area they don't have emissions testing. I wouldn't remove the cats. Now that is illegal. The EPA can bring the hammer down on you if you do that. This muffler is very quiet while driving down the road. If I would get hassled by the police I would just tell them the old muffler was damaged and had to be replaced.
mossman381 I had a decently loud 1971 chevy and I had bought it brand new and at the time I didn't believe In drivers doors or mufflers. Got it home and took those 2 things off. I was hauling bales with it one day and a cop approached me in MY field and told me he was giving me a ticket for a missing door and no muffler but I basically said "fuck off sir. Its my property so you can please kindly fuck off and get the fuck off my land" and he did just that

Yup, this muffler is on the quieter side. I was shocked because of how small it is.
Alex Taylor yeah that's what I want too 😀
Alex Taylor i have one on my silverado i love it it’s quiet until you get above 2500 rpms then it growls
I do alot of highway driving. Is it annoying on the highway at all?
Thats how my Jaguar is with a muffler delete and Cherrybomb glasspacks.

Stephen Cobb I have the same truck but stepside 😂 lol
I just got a thrush for my 2001 silverado 5.3. It has a turn down that ends at the cab. Definitely makes a difference
That's how mine was . Sounded good .
Damn, the original muffler looks like a 55 gal drum lol
I think it weights as much too :)
Stealth mufflers didn't hear you coming
Bravo,at least one person that is working properly with glove, safety mask and doing a pro job.
Well done!

Gervais Fillion 🙄shut the fuck up
Does he have to be osha certified 😂
Hush thrush, adds the back pressure needed in vehicles.
When you need the back pressure for passing, it's there.
These mufflers on mopars make them sound even meaner than they are. On a Chevrolet pickup, when down shifting, it makes it sound like a cat diesel

put it on my 1989 chevy 1500/Silverado because there was no muffler and sounds great on the 4.3l v6
Heyyy Wisconsin plates!! I actually have a thrush welded sitting in my shed which i planned to use on my 99 silverado, great video I'm excited to get mine in now

Cool, hope it works out for you.
I ended up getting the turbo thrush I was impressed with it. 3 in 2.5 duel out
dual.
I put these mufflers on my 04 6.0 Silverado and they sounded pretty good, they were pretty loud and droned a bit. This muffler sounds 1000x better with the cats removed 🐈🐈
Pops like crazy.
Your pipes should always go OVER your outlet not into them. I personally did this on a different car this weekend and would recommend this muffler to anybody, does not sound like rice and is not too loud!
40 series sounds the same as the thrush welded! That is the reason thrush is becoming more popular!!
I have a thrush turbo tri flow 2.5 inch in and out, it's a 3 chambered muffler, going to replace it with a flowmaster 40 Wich is a 2 chambered muffler, 04 sierra 5.3L, thrush does sound good but to me, I think flowmaster 40 has a more smooth rumble like a nice growl.
that and they are quite alot less expensive
I dumped my 40 series off and it’s deep now with no drone after the dump but sounds deep 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
That's what I want that deep sound . I had my thrush dumped and it sounded ok . Just wish it had a lil more sound to it .
You could have welded most of that on the bench then put it on the truck with a couple clamps
same muffler as the the 40 series I've ran both on the same truck and they sound nearly identical(thrush is slightly more tinny sounding
no...40 is louder

RedWhiteAndBlueVideo In low light even with the auto darkening hood it's hard to see. I always like to have a lot of light when welding.
that sounds nice 😀

If u want your exhaust mufflers louder a little, the bigger the tips, more the loudest
take the cats off, or replace them with high flow cats if you want it louder
I told him that as well.. Lol
jasonneal fatass is right👏👏👏👏😀👏😀

If it's too loud you're too old
+jake anderson Maybe, I would rather it sound good not loud.
40 series flowmaster isn't loud like straight pipe not even the 10 series is.
The flowmaster 40 is actually also a 2 chamber like this thrush but flowmaster 40 has a way better sound
I've had them and they sound good for two weeks and burn out!
B.s. I've had mine for 2 years,still sounds great!
I was originally thinking about a 50 series but this seems like a good option my friend has a 40 series and it is to loud for what I want
Black Widow mufflers AR Wicked especially Venom series
It's a 2 chamber and it only lasts about a year before it blows out and rusts off
I think I'd like this as a factory replacement for my 03 Envoy 5.3 (I don't want it that loud anyway)
If you want a small amount of rumble with factory quietness then this is the muffler for you.
You will like the sound of the thrush or a cherry bomb Remember can't make a electric car sound like that lol
It’s a good thing you didn’t go with that Flowmaster 50 because it would’ve been silent compared to the already quieter Thrush.
Yeah, I believe the 50 would be a bigger muffler. I am shocked at how quiet this muffler was.
The 50 series is a 3 chamber muffler, it’s basically a stock muffler...just pointless.
People saying these are the same as flow masters there not these are straight through flow masters are chambered and don’t drone at 60 mph like f/m
The 5.3l LS motors are a 325
*323
When welding did you remove the battery cable, computer etc or just use a surge protector
Been welding on trucks for years with no issues.
I have no cats and that same muffler and it's too loud sounds bad ass though
What is the actual adapter size....& part number? That is the most important part!
I put two of these on my 98 Tahoe and after a month one of them started ticking from what I believe was a loose internal weld on one of the chambers. Very cost effective but flow master is better quality. Just my opinion though 🇺🇸
do you have wheel spacers ? nice and clean job btw !
my exhaust is 2.25inch I wonted flow master super 44 series muffler I'm not sure which one will fit 2.25inch or 2.5 inch any idea mate?
Either one will fit. If you are asking if one will just slip over your 2.25" pipe I don't know that.
Love how he don't say what size the adapters are. What ID and OD did you use?
Measure you're exhaust and you'll know what you need.
@@jonboatmorava9115 It's not easy to measure it, until you have cut the muffler off. Then your driving around w/o the muffler, desperately trying to find an adapter that fits!
Would have been MUCH easier to just list the adapter.
@@billb9946 well not everything can be done for you like that. Sometimes you have to get out there and get them hands dirty 😉
I know the answer, wondering if you did? The exhaust companies don't want people doing their own mufflers, so they don't offer the correct adapter! 3"od to 2.5"id !!! You look like you butt welded 3 to 3" which can't be used w/ a clamp.
My mistake, I meant 2.75" id.
I put one on my 2000 Silverado and it gave it a held back feeling
You must have done something else that effected your truck. This muffler should flowed much better than stock.
there nothing else at that time I even tried reversing the muffler against the flow pattern clearly marked so I returned it and went with a cherry bomb 12 inch glasspack
These are loud got 2 3” welded thrush on my modded supercharged 1976 corvette stingray
nice. Do you think this truck will benefit from a steering damper like the S-10?
jewllake Yes, a steering stabilizer can benefit any truck.
Have you ever tried any exhausts from Summit? I put them on my trucks and I absolutely love them. Not too loud but not quite either and has a great sound!
Haven't tried the Summit mufflers. I did just install a Pypes exhaust system on dads 70 Camaro.
summit sells lots of exhaust so your comment means nothing as it is not specific enough on what type of muffler you put on.
Todd Carroll amzn.to/2S8mCxH
Put true duals on the truck and use Thrush and if not pleased go to Flmaster .50 Delta flow m ufflers.
how the drone down the road im think of puting either that or a dynomax ultra flo. i know i like the dynomax because my dad has a ultra flo x on his chevy 6.0l.
+motorman2013 No drone, sounds like a factory exhaust with a small amount of rumble.
+mossman381 okay thanks
Not bad
Did the offset in center out work good when you installed it? Did you have any problems getting the pipes to line up? I am almost about to pull the trigger on a super 10 offset to center muffler after watching your vids.
Yes, it worked out really good.
Thank you.
Was that a 3"ID to 3"OD adapter at 6:22?
+S Y Not really sure. This was done awhile ago. I just opened the muffler up at the auto parts store and bought a few adaptors that I thought would work.
Nice..
sounds good.
Pretty dark under the truck and if you can't see you can't weld :)
mossman381 o ok thanks. :) i like the auto darkening helmets. it would suck not seeing where 2 weld.
Did you notice any performance increase with the thrush muffler?
No
A Thrush Welded muffler is louder than a Flowmaster 40 series.
What flares are those ?
Sounds great. That is baffling to me (no pun intended) because I have a Thrush Welded on my 86' Ramcharger with a 360/4v and it is loud as shit. 2 1/2" down pipes to a 2 1/2" dual into 3" single Magnaflow "Y". This goes into the same muffler as Mossman381's and exits out of a OEM diesel 3" tailpipe.
i have the same flowmaster u think it will sound good in a dodge durango 07 4.7?
This is a Thrush muffler. Similar to a Flowmaster but not the same. Not sure what it will sound like on a Durango. Should sound similar I would think but you never know until you try a muffler.
I put one on mine, and it sounded good, had a decent lope to it, but like he said too quiet for me. Im going with a glasspack next time.
I put a Jeg's knockoff version of the Flowmaster 40 on my 2002 4.7 Durango and it sounds damn good. Doesn't drone and is very deep and mean sounding inside. It's loud enough outside so that people hear you coming, but not obnoxious at all.
Is that with the cats on
Yes, cats are still installed.
I’m thinking about putting this on my 4.3 in my blazer was it good and would you recommend it??
I don't like putting any mufflers on a V6. They just don't sound good to me. It was pretty quiet with no drone in the cab so if that is what you are looking for then this would be a good muffler. I have not put one of these on a 4.3.
The dam thing looks like gas tank
They sound nice but mine only lasted a year before it rusted and blew out
@Nimbus Nimbus the whole back of the damn muffler blew out......I'm not drilling a hole in my muffler......I swapped it out with a quality ss muffler from another brand
@Nimbus Nimbus water builds and goes right out the exhaust as vapor
@Nimbus Nimbus tell me why all exhaust are not made with a hole then? The point of my post is do not buy thrush. I've had other universal mufflers with no "hole" in them last years
@Nimbus Nimbus coming from the guy putting holes in his new exhaust
@Nimbus Nimbus your are the one trolling this thread crying and trying to defend thrush for their cheap knock off mufflers. Making excuses saying you need to drill a hole in a perfectly good exhaust because you don't believe water will evaporate in a hot exhaust.
What size are the wheel And tires u bave
Check the playlist on this truck. I have rim and tire videos along with just about everything I have done to it.
How do I make my muffler loud because I got a Cadillac converter on my 93 Chevy can I just take the Cadillac converter off to make it loud ?
Its a catalytic converter and from what I've heard removing them will make it louder.
samayza 200 Oh those Cadillac converters 😄
Cadillac converter.. are you fuckin kidding me lmao
So everyone here is about trucks. I like my stock muff for my ram1500 sxt but I wanna get this muffler for my sons maxima, it's on the 3.0 v6... would this sound good or would it be quiet?
If this muffler makes a 5.3 V8 quiet I would guess it would make 3.0 V6 even quieter.
ImCoyy i d k my buddy put one on his dodge with a hemi and it sounded like shit ! Nothing like it sounds on a Chevy! Makes no sense
How's your dually? You should make a video of the dually:) made a few videos of mine but can't upload them till I get Internet back!!
Black duramax dually The dually is fine. Just haven't done anything to it lately. I will see if I can get some video of it.
Hello,we are Exhaust system factory from China.Hope we can make a deep connection.
Are these muffler's only for sound or do they actually do add horsepower?
+krauser979 A performance muffler will give you a slight power increase. You probably won't feel it. If you want any kind of real power gains you need to do a complete mandrel bent exhaust system. This muffler was put in only for sound.
my opinion. this is my way of thinking, anything you can do to minimise restrictions in putting the air to the engine and letting it out, you will gain hp, or save gas (if you dont step on the trotle some more because you like the new sound) the lest effort your engine makes to suck and exaust its air, the better.
They sound great but they rot very quickly.
Where can I find this
Local auto parts stores have them sometimes.
Is this the Welded Thrush 17656 ?
Fishing_From_Shore _ get the stainless one I got about 8 years out of mine
Will it sound the same with a v6?
No, a V6 sounds bad with a performance muffler. My opinion anyway.
If you want loud just do a muffler delete. That s what I did.
DrawTimeInc if you dont mind shitty power and gas mileage then thats the way to go.😂
is it legal in your state to do any modifications to your exhaust? it's a BIG no no where i'm from. cops will give you a huge fine! btw, i think it sounds great, and i wish i had a shop like you have!
davidgriffin14 Here in Wisconsin they don't have strict exhaust laws.
Basically the laws are you can't remove it, but you can replace it. Any equipment that came factory has to be there in some form
davidgriffin14 what if you can't buy the replacement on a car? When the manufacturer no longer carry it and aftermarket considered a modification ?
mossman381 I had a decently loud 1971 chevy and I had bought it brand new and at the time I didn't believe In drivers doors or mufflers. Got it home and took those 2 things off. I was hauling bales with it one day and a cop approached me in MY field and told me he was giving me a ticket for a missing door and no muffler but I basically said "fuck off sir. Its my property so you can please kindly fuck off and get the fuck off my land" and he did just that
You need to get your PCV replaced you got some blue smoke coming out driver side valve cover should cure it
+Timmy Timmithy its a new muffler too
cbr1thou get a fucking life dumb ass
Headers dude
Wheels?
+413PL th-cam.com/video/EOvfnonsSJ8/w-d-xo.html
Yep! It has wheels
I think she’s sideways there bud, not that it matters
I run them on my 90 mustang
Are they loud on that?
😀👏👏👏👏😀
Hope u disconnected ur battery before u welded on that truck
That is a myth. I never disconnect the battery and have welded many many trucks with no issues.
y is it sideways
That's the way it fits best.
mossman381 oh ok✌
325 cubic inch.
BigGing82 324.991 cubic inches to be exact. I believe GM called it a 327. They also call it a 5.3l when it's actually 5.323l.
mossman381 Just giving you a hard time. A friend of mine has 327 stickers on his '07, I tell him all the time it's 325...Nice truck by the way.
BigGing82 I was giving you a hard time back :) I guess the new motors are 4.8 and 5.3. I am still stuck in the 305 and 350 days.
BigGing82 323 fuck head .
You have to delete the catalytic converters and resonators. Then put on a Flowmaster Super 10.
