Only way to beat them was to use pace, because their huge players lack that. Hayes and Yeading like possession, but attack from all sides, and confuse opponents by moving the ball quickly, so disguising where the threat is coming from. They have the knack of taking defenders out of the game, through bogus runs. They are very difficult to break down, so don't feel that having lots of possession is a good thing. Beaconsfield: lots of great creative players and can score from anywhere, but weak at the back. If they score 2 or more, you are a gonner. Do what both Poole and Hanwell did.: dictate the tempo and possession from the off. If you achieve a higher commitment, they won't be able to deal with it. Don't give either side any time to think. Do you want another 3 or 4 zip?
Again hard to disagree with anything said. The schedule has been brutal for us but we will battle on to the end. Totton were a class above tonight good luck to them in the playoffs.

The trouble people at Hendon and you have, it that they take any criticism as personal, but you never hear the manager being all nice from the touchline. I predicted your downfall, but added my own idea about tactics Plymouth have to use in next games, all on this page. Please read them. You never know, your manager may invite me down to give the team a few tips before the game. I can now let you know one I could share with them. Don't wear sandals.
