That's... odd if true. While telco supplied phones often drop dual SIM (they don't like sharing) in exchange for being cheaper, Telstra's page for the G34 and the specifications listed within actually call out that their version has eSIM support, as per here: www.telstra.com.au/mobile-phones/mobiles-on-a-plan/motorola/moto-g34 (if you open up the specifications near the bottom of that page, it's in there.) The Moto G34 I had in for review has long since gone back to Motorola, so I can't check that myself.
I fail to see how this is better value in any way compared to the G54. For an extra $20 you get a 1080p screen and double the ram at 8gb and slightly better performance. If anything this phone is poor value compared to the G54.
It's often the way as Android phones get that bit older -- but I can't guarantee it everywhere all the time, which is why I stick to original RRP, because while you *might* be able to get it cheaper than RRP (always nice), you shouldn't have to pay *more* than RRP.
@@AlexKidman Yeah I was wrong to say "it is now 249" as that appears to be a temporary sale price, it will probably go back up to 299 after a while, or maybe they are clearing them out to replace it with the G32? I say this as there is no longer a listing to buy it directly from Nokia's AU shop (Lenovo). So the lineup appears to be G04, G24, G34, G84?
ITS A GOOD PHONE FOR SOMEONE WHO PREFERS PRACTICAL PHONE OVER FLAGSHIPS...
e sim doesnt work with telstra

Horrible audio

No
@@jez9951 i have bought both, the g34 Is my principal phone 👍
Hows the display g34 5g??? Crisp?
Reasonable as I recall for the money (it's long since gone back to Motorola) but it is ultimately max 720p, so don't expect miracles.
Is motorola G34 better as G53 ? IF so in which way ?? @@AlexKidman
