It was a great week and that was an amazing experience. I want to thank Quincy, Chris M, Chris Anthony, Jake , Audra and all the team for getting me a ride at CES!
Great job David and Chris! Seeing and hearing about the P.I. quality really reinforces how much we need Aptera to succeed in the industry. We need what Aptera has developed AND everything Aptera stands for!!! Come on big investors, it doesn't get any better than this! Thank you DTL, your field agents are doing you proud!

Interesting, especially seeing all the pedestrians being so wowed when they see the Aptera. This EV is going to be a hit. Love the sound when it accelerates.

Hard to express how exciting this is to those of us who couldn't make the trip to Vegas. The fires in LA are a huge reason why this vehicle has to happen.
Absolutely. If it weren't for this community most of us probably wouldn't be able to follow the development of Aptera like this. You guys are awesome all of you.

I think this is a great video. I hope the exposure from CES gets some big investors looking this direction. Being told the LE will be 40k is a little disappointing but understandable. Even at 40k long term you save money, but just not as much.
Great video! Thank you. I just wish you could correct the part where you say they ended the day with 20 more miles of range. That 20 would have been the total range the solar charging added, not an amount in addition to what was used for driving.
Looking forward to my Aptera in my driveway here in Ontario Canada. Hope they sell a winter version of the front wheel skirts, current ones will act like snow plows. Note from my solar panel output this winter expect some ware between 0 to 5miles of solar for 4 months a year. OK with that. Also hope the redesigns stop soon, so that Aptera can head for production. Hopefully might see mine by 27/28
So many videos pointed out the front. We know what the the streets of LV look like. Please turn the camera to the driver so we can see what driving an Aptera looks like not the streets its driving on.
A bit off-topic, but it looks like Chris was wearing one of those glow-in-the-dark puffer jackets. I kinda want one, but I decided to buy a rainbow retroreflective jacket instead that looks black when not illuminated. The future is indeed bright 😎
It's just a shame that they're pricing themselves out of the electric market with their new estimated $40k starting price up from $33k just like 9 months ago when so many of us signed up and invested through the accelerator program. Tesla prices have gone down.
Too Late. Imo there's little market for this car when you could by a model 3 for a few bucks more. After they deliver the first 30000 vehicles it will be like the cybertruck.
@@1776psl not every one is interested in buying a Tesla, some people want something super efficient for commuting, or something really different from anything else on the road. The aptera will be more fun and interesting than most other vehicles on the road today. I'm ready for mine!
@@david.e.h.Right. I'm happy to admit the Model 3 is an exceptional EV, especially for the price. But the last thing I'm interested in is giving Musk more cash. I'm pretty sure Aptera knows this car has a niche customer base. Originally they were only expecting enough interest to build a couple thousand units per year and were just going to hand build them. But with all the preorder interest they realized they needed a higher volume solution and that's part of what has pushed the ship date back compared to what they originally thought.
There's really nothing "impressive" about solar putting out power in the shaded conditions shown in the video. There's plenty of non-direct (i.e., diffuse) sunlight hitting the panels.
On another drive, Mccammon specified that he personally was surprised to see it charging in the shade, but implied that the engineers had probably expected it. Like a lot of folks, this was unexpected and exciting to him!
