I just got a Retroid Pocket 2 Plus, and honestly, mGBA on Retroarch is my go-to for GBA games. The only exception being that I swapped to VBA-M for WarioWare Twisted, since it has the rotation set to the left stick, making the game actually playable without a rom hack.
I thought about trying Pizza Boy for WarioWare Twisted since it has the gyroscope, but I don't need gyro controls bad enough to spend $5 on it. It'd be literally the only game I'd use the emulator for.
I thought VBA-M isn't for android systems
You should may be do a video on pizza boy gbc next or in comparison with the other emulators. I heard it's another best Gameboy color and Gameboy emulator

Well, I have another suggestion for you. Just go search gba emulator developed by Metaverse Labs.
Be warned: it's not just a gba emulator which phenomenally enhances the overall graphics (you'll know when you see it) but also runs games across different consoles. Yes, I played from Pokemon red to Pokemon XY with this one 😊

Is there an emulator with 4 player multiplayer?
I use MyBoy emulator. The best part of it is it provides options to add and remove buttons like A+B, L+R, etc. This is how I play GBA games without controller.
Hey, sorry to bother ya but I am having trouble getting MyBoy to work it keeps saying all the game have an invalid gba game file. They are a .zip so if I need to extract them then let me know!
There is no need to extract the file. Both the extracted and compressed files can be emulated perfectly.
@@hayden6704If you're playing a ROM Hack, it might be one where the game itself inside the .zip folder is an .ips file, which means you'll have to extract the .zip folder and patch the .ips ROM Hack file onto a specific version of the regular game it's modifying that has a .gba file. UniPatcher for Android is good for this.
Example: I need to extract the .zip folder in order for the .ips hack file to show up in UniPatcher. This file is, for example, Pokémon FireRed Rocket Edition.
This ROM Hack requires patching onto a specific version of the OG Pokémon FireRed, called 'Pokémon FireRed v1.0 (Squirrels)'.
Now that I downloaded the specific OG version, it should be a .gba file (e.g. pokemonfireredv1.0squirrels.gba).
Put both files into UniPatcher and it should combine them. Name and place the new file wherever you want (e.g. Android > /0/ > Downloads > ROM Hack Folder).
Make sure your file is a .gba file and boot up your emulator. Search for the folder you put it in and select your file. It should now work.
Some ROM Hacks or even certain ROMs themselves don't work with certain emulators, however. Make sure you check that you're not using an emulator that is listed as one of these on the official upload site of the ROM/ROM Hack.
Myboy is still better. All games are there. Can speed up the game too and of course you can manually fix the control buttons.

@Med King heard of it. A complicated emulator at least for me trying to create skins. I just like my games there and functional. I could give a rats ass for skins. Haha
@@thalmoragent9344 what he means is that all GBA only games are playable in myboy. DS emulator is another thing and is not compatible with gba roms.

i like myboy rather than any of these gba emulator, no need high android os, tiny size. but the downside is you must input the cheat manually, but it's fine. no option to use custom skin button like ePSXe, but still it's fine.

Only retroarch that have flawless rewind feature and with mgba core it become most accurate and fast emulator
What is the speed increase on Pizza boy free vs pro?
I know my body does like 8x speed and that was a bit to much.

I use JohnGBA for Years now. It's very easy to get used to it but the Options even in the Paid Version are limited. About the Stolen Code Stuff that's actually the first time I heard about tbh but I wouldn't be surprised

If you're playing a ROM Hack version of a game then cheats may not apply as some may be different and thus won't show up.
It would be so nice if there is a emulator that uses physical buttons for shoulder buttons

Regarding pizza boy free, when it says it doesn't have save feature... Does that simply mean it doesn't have the usual 'save state' option you find on emulators OR does it mean you cannot save at all (like in-game save functionality on the rom itself is also disabled)? If I can still go into the menu of the game I'm playing and save it as if I were playing it 'for real' then it's a non issue as I don't typically use emulator 'save states' anyway.
So I ended up just downloading pizza boy free and I can confirm that regular in-game save functionality works perfectly.
@@ianmuessig how do you get it to save? I downloaded a rom, tried saving, and had to restart? Granted, I just have the rom saved to my phone, not in the rom folder for the emulator.
@@HawkHoupt I have exclusively used in-game save not the save state function of pizza boy free. I can see that pizza boy free has an option to save state in the menu but I honestly have no idea how/if it works because I exclusively use in game saves (all of which have worked flawlessly, vimm roms through pizza boy GBC and pizza boy GBA free editions). Emulator save states are notoriously unreliable so I try to avoid using them when possible.

@Captainzilla418 Yeah. Apparently if you press any buttons while it is trying to save (on pokemon at least) it just does not save. Idk why.

I have a question so what if somebody doesn't have like money or any ROMs of any game what can they do for a or any files I forgot about that if they like want to play Pokemon or anything else
To play a game on emulators you'll need to have a ROM or a ROM Hack file. These can be found for free online, if someone tries to sell you one of these files for money, it's a scam. Always download from reputable sources.

@@ezzong Not sure if it works, pizza boy doesn't use mGBA core so the save states might not be compatible with PC emulators.

@@jacobyjecoby1104 yeah! It's skin may be simple but overall it's superb. I'd highly recommend it over all gba emulator. I've been using it for 5 years and I still do today.

@@Morunic777 i do not like it, just because i have to manually find the games after closing and open, but in some emulators (john gba) has the saved game in your menu and you can click it, and it easily goes to the game..
@@MikeOrigins it's up to you. Myboy emulator may not have instant games but quality and gameplay wise, it's a superb emulator. Besides, roms are too easy to find.

If an app gets removed from the Play Store you will have access to it regardless of whether it's still on the Play Store or not, you just won't get any more updates. The developer may decide to continue updates via APK, but you'll still have to check back very regularly.
