      We all have a natural cadence and everything we do requires our body to be in sync to for every task. When you understand your rhythm you can speed up and slow down the tempo to suit the task

    Awesome
    I come from dancing
    Salsa, Bachata and others
    My boxing coach (only have 1 month training) says I'm the fastest learner he had over 30 years
    Boxing is just dancing, if you manage to combine it, not get tired and pull the strength, its easy
    I really like a TH-cam I found, salbox which is cuban style boxing using salsa as a base for the footwork

      Timing rhythm coordination and sequenced footwork patterns. A dangerous dance

    This may be one of the best videos I've seen on TH-cam. I am going to discuss this on my channel. I would love to connect and collaborate with you. I also love that all the bags are wrecking ball bags. Very cool.

      Thanks Claire take a video and show me how you get on with it. I really think understanding rhythm and timing is so important we can take this video a lot deeper! And look at trapping and timing your opponent and create a crash to increase the velocity of your punches

      @@ubstv600 Hey quick when related to this video should I consider looking at an opponents rhythm aswell to figure out what they are going to do next while changing my rhythm constantly or just focus on my rhythm and timing, so simply to get an opponent timing down you should focus on their rhythm right? to lands shots and also change my rhythm up so I don’t get timed as well right?

    ok so I know this video says "How to Improve Rhythm and Timing" but what if you never had any rhythm of any type? Like is there a video on how to get rhythm first and then how to maintain it? Like I have no understanding of what rhythm is in music, I'm not musically literate, and I'm no musician so you can imagine how lost confused I am about what rhythm is in boxing and other stuff

      Start by using a metronome. Understand quarter, half, full, eitgth, and sixteenth notes at a slow bpm. Like between 70-100

    Can rhythm work in mma?

  • @iiahahybilaash9434
    @iiahahybilaash9434 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So is a rhythm a pattern that is being done 3 or more times or something That’s being done at the same pace or speed. Or is it both?

    • @ubstv600
      @ubstv600  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Your Rhythm and pattern will also need to very because remember your opponent is trying to do the same to you.

      @@ubstv600 Ok so for example if we was break it down in whole,quarter,half, eighth,sixteen. How Would the different beats apply to boxing like that of a punch or any movement in a rhythm? Like if I throw a left hook 3 times is that a rhythm right or would me be throwing a left hook at the same speed be a rhythm or there is no difference.

      You are missing the point of what he is trying to convey

    • @ubstv600
      @ubstv600  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exactly if you set a rhythm, understand your rhythm and tempo, understand your opponents rhythm and tempo you are in control. Therefore you know what your opponent is doing before they do it.

      @@ubstv600 At 4:57 If the first time you'll do it and he didn't freezes and throws a straight or left hook? What's the best to do when it's too late to back out because of the double step forward? Just eat the shot and learn to counter it on the next attempt?

    • @ubstv600
      @ubstv600  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think your missing the point. Using movement to create a reaction will mean that you have used your rhythm at footwork patterns to collate information and understand what your opponent is likely to do before they do it, based on their reaction to your triggers.
      But it’s boxing you need a dance partner!! Guess what your right they are trying to do exactly the same thing to you. That’s what makes boxing so interesting. It’s obvious your opponent will be looking to implement strategies to disrupt your rhythm also.
