I once was in a room full of women where they asked us to do an icebreaker by introducing ourselves and something we are refreshed by. I’ve found out I was definitely in the minority of people there as one of only three people that are into more intellectual pursuits, but there were a ton of women that were really interested in flowers, crafting, pets, and cooking. Those are things that drain me. I got to find who my people were and got to talk about ancient languages and travels to the mediterranean and Middle East with people who also were energized by it and able to deeply talk about it with me. 💕 my point is it’s a great icebreaker to suggest when you’re in a large group of people. So many of those women would’ve loved that! Yet, those of us who rather just talk during that time about ancient politics now knew who each other were that we could sit by and not kill the mood for those who wanted to talk pets, grandkids, and gardening. 😝

Still better you weren’t insulting or diminishing other women’s interests. Your comment walked a fine line as some could get all bent out of shape & feel ‘insulted’. FYI, I have my peeps- alumnae club that is so robust it has a separate book club of which I am a member. [Selective liberal arts college in Massachusetts- we’re a bunch of brainy do-gooders 🤭🤭]
I was a florist for 20 years. According to the company that made the Oasis that we used, it was better to float your floral foam in a bucket of water and let it absorb it on it's own rather than pouring it from the top. Just for what that's worth. Love your videos!! :D :D
My favorite use for the "ice buckets" that look like giant red solo cups (I've only seen the red, white, and blue ones in my area.) is to drill a few holes in the bottom and use them as planters. They are much larger, hold up better, and look much nicer than the other Dollar Tree planters!! My absolute favorite find this year!!!

I love these ideas and wish that we had the Dollar store in the UK, we have something very similar called Poundland, it has almost identical products but nowhere near as much variety or option. My family used to have a florist shop in London and we used the green foam blocks all the time; a handy tip to get them to work best is to fully immerse them in water (you'll need to put something heavy on top of them to stop them floating) ,you'll see lots of little bubbles and when those bubbles stop, the foam block has reached it's full capacity of water and it's ready to use, hope that's helpful. I got the Bee tea towel to hang on my oven :) I redid our whole house in black and white two years ago so all my color comes from all of my decor! The Bee towel was Perfect! B&W with a touch of yellow for Spring and Summer

I love the peppermint sage cleaner! And I may be lying, but I feel like they're bug deterrent scents. I wiped down my windowsills with it and I've noticed less creepy crawlies. Could be just me though lol. I love the lemon patterns too. Thank you so much. I can never get enough of what you do!
Bugs actually don't like scents like that! I like to keep essential oils around the house to make my own room sprays and cleaning products sometimes and they do help keep bugs away.
That happened to my brother. Someone gave him a beautiful plant to put in his office and he forgot to water it. He thought it would die but then realized it wasn’t real.😂🤣 It happens to the best of us.😁 Love all the lighting. I think lighting elevates anything. Tfs sweetie, you totally rock!🤗

That peppermint sage multi cleaner is AMAZING… I own a cleaning company and buy tons of it from Dollar tree every month..
