Those editions are gorgeous! especially those works of antiquity! I'm currently reading Homer myself, the Fagles translation of The Iliad, almost done with it but boy is it violent, and those descriptions on the battlefield are very gnarly. The Greeks and Romans are just so fun to read in any case. Nice to see Toby albeit briefly. I honestly wish I could spend some browsing your shelves, it would be so wonderful to be able to read a beautiful leather bound book, maybe one day I can afford one haha
Since you enjoy classic works shop for leather bound books on ebay. You will be surprised at how inexpensive some of them are. Shop Easton and Franklin books by price. You will find many of them under twenty-five dollars. Thanks so much for watching my videos.
yeah the prices are decent but shipping kills it almost all the time! since I'm not in the US, items from the US will require shipping fees that mostly exceeds the price of the products. btw do you only read physical books? have you tried ereaders? they're great.
@@jackattackl8 If you look at the bottom shelf during the ULLYSES first edition part you will see him stroll through along that bottom shelf. Most of the time he stayed in the kitchen trying to get something out of the garbage can.
