    I had the same experience as not-a-bot9408 below. I changed both low-beam bulbs on my 2015 Mazda 3, and I would also like to insert my experience here:
    The guy at Autozone said the Lasfit bulbs are Sylvanias H11. I purchased the LED's about $100 for two bulbs there. The passenger side is easy, and I suggest doing it first to familiarize yourself with how the plug is oriented to the socket. Bulb grease is a waste of money since you will get it all over everything, creating more problems than help. The driver's side is difficult because you can't see what you are doing. I consider my hands the average size for a man, but I seriously considered asking my wife to do this. After a few curse words and a backache, it was done, and I'm pretty happy with the result.

    God bless you for this video. My fiancés car we bought from her folks went out and her dad said he couldn’t get to it and ended up pulling the whole fender well out and sticking his entire arm in there to change it before. I got the bulb out to switch in 10 mins

    Others may have already said it here, but besides taking the two bolts out mentioned in the video, remove the air filter cover as well. Will give you much more room to get in there and remove the low beam on the driver side.

    Found it much easier to replace the L bulb from the bottom, by removing a few push pins and pulling down the left fender liner!

      Thank you for sharing the installation tips, yes, as for some vehicles, it is a good idea to replace the bulb from the fender.
      By the way, may I ask have you tried Lasfit LED bulbs on your Mazda 3?

  • @not_a_bot9408
    @not_a_bot9408 2 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    I've successfully changed both low-beam bulbs on my 2015 Mazda 3, so I want to insert my experience here for reference.
    Passenger's side is easy, if you know how to do driver's side, so I will focus on the driver's side. The hard part is removing power cable from the bulb using one hand without looking. You want to do this before removing the bulb from the socket, as the socket serves as your "second hand" to hold the bulb for you when you pull the cable. My suggestion is to practice using removing the power cable connected to high-beam bulb first, because you can actually see where you should press to get the power cable to disengage.
    Once you successfully pull out the power cable, twist the bottom of the bulb to remove it from the socket (forgot it was clockwise or counterclockwise, try both ways). When putting the new bulb, you want to first connect the bulb to the power cable, and then twist it into the socket - again without looking, so you will need to feel and try. Pull the bulb and make sure it is secure once you are done, voila!

    I thankfully have small hands so the drivers side wasn't to bad. Didn't take off the filter either XD.

    • @lasfitvehiclelife
      @lasfitvehiclelife  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, due to the compact installation space, you may need a little more tricks if you don't have some physical advantage, such as smaller hands.😂

    Its a really informative video. Although how do you change the park lights? I could reach the park lights but I don't know how to get it out.. I tried to rotate it, pull it, looked for a button to push to release the light but nothing works. Can you tell me how to pull it how?
    Much appreciated.

    • @lasfitvehiclelife
      @lasfitvehiclelife  ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually, you can remove it by twisting it anticlockwise. However, if that doesn't work, you can try twisting it clockwise instead.
      By the way, could you please kindly tell us have you plan to install Lasfit LED bulbs?

    Why dont you just release the air breather clips and lift it out of the way when doing the drivers side? Its alot easier than doing it your way and fucking around with the fuse box.

    So if I install the high beam leds it will have warning lights in the dash or will the DRLs just not work? If the DRLs just don't work then I don't care but if it starts having warning lights n stuff then no that'll be a problem

    • @lasfitvehiclelife

    • @lasfitvehiclelife
      @lasfitvehiclelife  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      DRL and high beam work on a same bulb. But the brightness of DRL is the same as high beam after installing after-market LED bulbs. Because the voltage of DRL is lower than high beam.

    • @NewYorksFinest1

      i discovered that if i put all of my original bulbs back in (halogen) that the drl works fine. if i plug the led in the drl wont work because it's different current being sent to the computer in the car preventing the drl from working.
