*Had 3 20v batteries so I bought the saw **MyBest.Tools** Amazing compared to another cordless I owned. Great and powerful for those small jobs where I don't want to lug my 7 1/4 corded around.*

Thank You... I’m 52 and just getting my first Circular saw (Dewalt Flexvolt); so many blade choices! Look like this blade is what I’m looking for! Thanks again and stay safe!

I just used one "Framing" blade to rip cut the 3/4 inch Nailed Oak Wood Flooring on a 1300 Sq. Ft house. Cut through nails and wood no problem. I'm sold.

Would that blade work good on a railroad tie that is being cut with a table saw?

Bullshit Diablo saw blades. I bought the demo blade that states it will cut through most materials and nails, I used the Diablo circular saw blade to cut up old pallets. The thing lasted approx a dozen cuts before nearly all the teeth were ripped off. The nails in the pallet were no more than a soft wire compression shot nail. I then put in a second blade but stopped before this was totally rocked too. I went back to my old blunt Irwin saw blade to finish the job.
As far as I'm concerned the Diablo brand is shit.

      Good Morning Nicholas,
I don't have an explanation for your trouble since the Diablo blades I've used always zip right through nails, and not just those soft pallet nails. In my tests I've gone through 3 1/2" hammer-driven nails and could do that all day with no trouble. Specifically what model of blade were you using on the pallets?
      Bye for now,
      Steve

I’ve noticed that some teeth does tend to chip on the diablo blades. That said. They are extremely tough and cats through a lot of stuff. Is your nail hardened like screws? While I doubt that’s the case, but I can see combination of certain materials such as treated wood and wet pallets can gum up the heads and make the cut difficult. Or a bad batch? Much of it is about using some handyman sense as well. I mean why cut through nails if you can first pull them out? The way the pallet nails are oriented, you would be really cutting through the side splines, which are generally 1 1/2 but can be up to 2 1/2 yellow pine in good pallets. Again I am not saying that you may not have gotten a bad batch, but try treating your tools better and they will work better for you.
