It really sucks how they handled premonition power because if controlled in the right way it's super powerful. I mean from all primary powers which sisters had precognition IF controlled in the RIGHT way COULD be the most powerful one. Precognition is unstoppable when person knows how to use it as advantage. Like for example: - using it as form of sensing during fight so you can see/sense next moves of your opponent and react to them before he will make a move, - if you are hiding then you know when you will be attacked and you can prepare for that, when there is future attack on you or anyone, - no one can lie to you or hide anything from you (much of past and future plots could be avoided because of this), - she could see how to defeat each enemy so they would save a lot of time to find the solution. And those are only few examples, there will be many more applications. Phoebe NEVER used her power like that. She was barely even getting any visions. Demons surprised them MANY times which shouldn't happen. If used in the right way then none can surprise you and you can't be stopped. Also think about all possible advancemets of this power like: astral projection, empathy, mind reading, mind control, etc... Premonition is a difficult power to deal with when writing a story arc, especially for one of the main characters so they always has to come with limitations not to spoil the whole story (not able to control it, loosing power, dying, visions are not clear etc.) When the format of the show was “demon of the day”, basically Phoebe tracked the innocent and found out the plot of the demon that was soon to be vaquished. But when the show started covering long narrative arcs, Phoebe’s power became a nuisance to writers. Also, it always annoyed me that Phoebe got levitation and Prue astral projection when it didn't make any sense. It should be the opposite. Prue should get levitation/flying because telekinesis allows her to move objects in psychical space so that would allow her to move herself also in psychical space as well. And if Phoebe during visions can transform her mind in different places that scream astral projection! So many years and this series still gives me fury. xD
Sergio: going with the flow and acting on impulse and feeling before logic or reason is VERY much a character trait of Phoebe's. It probably why the power of premonition was given to her, she's the most intuitive of the sisters. Add to this her natural, inborn duality of good vs evil tendencies, from being born in the manor, and the lines get blurred sometimes, especially when attached to emotions. Fortunately she has tremendous strength of soul and learns, along the way from her mistakes. She feels them, and grows. She was always my favorite....because she is me

Nah it's not an older sibling thing, Prue is the only one u attached and her focus is open. Piper has Leo and Phoebe is falling in love for the first time, Prue's the only one that can see everything because she's not scattered.

Can we talk about the love triangle that was going on offset. Prue and Cole was dating in real life. And so was Alyssa and Leo. It had to be weird on set with all these kissing scenes.
I agree with Sergio on this one. I just cannot get behind Phoebe not tellin the sisters and essentially endangering them all with letting Cole go. Despite the murky situation, it is SO interesting how Phoebe and Cole both have this duality/inner struggle of inherent good and evil. They both have potential to be swayed either way and it makes sense they would be drawn to each other in this regard. I personally think had the writers been stronger this would have been something great to lean into heavily rather than being subtext.

Prue lost Andy, a good guy to make her sisters survive but Phoebe saved Cole while he tried to kill them many times mainly Prue with the empath. Yes Cole/Julian is hot and he's an interesting character but mad at Phoebe everytime he's involved. Can't wait to see you next reactions. Seeing Shannen in you reaction is easier. Great way to honor her is to watch her work. You should watch Satan's School for Girls with Shannen and Julie Benz (Darla in Buffy)
You can't help who you love. Andy did what he did out of love and Phoebe did the same thing. Phoebe changed Cole and he changed her. Phoebe shouldve definitely told her sisters, but we see that she feels the same as it's tearing her up in the next episodes. Eventually she does tell them, tells everyone even though she's done with Cole as she never expects to see him again. All the sisters keep things from each other, it furthers the plot 😂 but also Phoebe continually gets blamed for her choices but no other sister does.

Pheobe only has premonitions when Cole gives into his human form.. his demon form blocks her from having premonitions on him being a demon. And the fact that she doesn’t have premonitions on command is what makes it even harder for her to ever get a premonition on Cole being a demon
While Phoebe isn't nearly as annoying as she was in Sight Unseen (3x5) she is still annoying with her love of Cole in both of these episodes. I understand from the outset that this is her first commitable relationship, but how she acts in relation to him feels like its taking a step back for her character. In the previous two seasons, Phoebe was all about finding herself, taking steps to grow away from the person she use to be, that's why she came back into their lives. It also takes her relationship with Prue backwards too, right as they started growing more of a bond, any time she has conflict with Prue over Cole she acts like a rebellious child yelling at a overprotective mother, and will either throw Prue's suspicion back in her face or act dismissive. But whenever Phoebe comes to the same conclusion Prue does that he's evil or can't be trusted she all of a sudden feels validated to condemn him as such. Which makes her a hypocrite. Like back in Season 2, in the Painting episode Phoebe went out of her way to get Prue's car fixed that she cast a smart spell on herself to pass an aptitude test with the benefit of trying to raise money to fix Prue's car after she accidentally backed it into a pole. Yet in this episode, she ignores Prue's warning about running out of gas and just gives an offhanded remark about it, and doesn't even apologize for it. Then dumps her responsibilities off on Piper, while actively trying to sneak away from her to avoid confronting her about it, meaning she would've left if Piper hadn't caught her. it just shows how relationships negatively affect her priorities. Especially since in 3x8, she tries to avoid Prue who tries to come off as understanding, but acts like annoyed that Prue doesn't trust Cole, but then Prue brings up the fact Phoebe never liked any of the people she dated, so Phoebe can have a disapproval of her sister's dates, yet when Prue suspects something about Cole and doesn't trust him she acts all avoidant and dismissive? Again Phoebe is a hypocrite. I'm not saying Prue is perfect either, like in a later episode she becomes a hypocrite about the situation too, but the episode calls her out on it, meanwhile Phoebe isn't called out for being a hypocrite when it comes to Cole. It's also weird Prue mentions this because it also counts Andy, who Phoebe was never shown to dislike. And by Season 2 even Prue knew how much she was growing, in Season 3, not only does she comes off as immature, she seems to take a lot more focus into her dating Cole than anything going on, and goes against her development from the first two seasons. Like at the beginning of 3x7, she just hyperfocused on Cole complaining about him being late (which makes her come off as pushy, lovestruck and possessive) while ignoring anything Prue says to her. Not only that it's always bothered me that she never gives a verbal apology the same way Prue and Piper did. Sure, she obviously feels bad about their fighting, given she confides in Cole after their heated argument caused by a rage demon, but when the sisters are all given their apologizes, Piper apologizes for her mean comment about "Grams saying she'd never amount to anything" and Prue apologizes for acting as if she doesn't act as if Phoebe has grown, but Phoebe never apologizes for running Prue's car out of gas and acting flippantly about it nor does she apologize for ditching Piper just to go out with Cole, and would've done so sneakly had Piper not caught her in time. My rant aside, I enjoy both of these episodes a lot. It has a nice conflict, and adds some bit of humor in there and I like the reveal of Belthazor as Cole.
Not gonna lie, seeing you guys so ready for Pheoby to Vanquish Cole. After we have seen how Coal wouldn't kill Pheoby when he has had multiple chances, kinda hurt a bit. But still great upload guys, always here for it.

But you guys are completely forgetting the episode with the three brothers warlock with the one brother who wanted to be good. The sisters totally saved him even though he was only half human. coal destroyed the Triad. He didn't hurt Phoebe. He saved Phoebe from the bounty Hunter. And he is half human and very much in love according to the empath power . Why would you not give him the same treatment off presuming innocence?
Plus the 'warlock brother almost killed an innocent and them! While he was trying to kill her, she wouldn't let her sisters vanquish him over a silly crush. Not to mention a certain future halfbreed ex that tries multiple times to kill an innocent and them, actively wanting to! Yet still won't let her sisters vanquish him. She's a self-righteous hypocrite.
I never got the Phoebe hate from fans for this episode. Yeah, she shouldn't have lied to her sisters, but at this point does anyone doubt that Prue would have gone on a major hunt to find and kill Cole if Phoebe told her he was alive even if Phoebe begged her not to? I'm 100% on Phoebe's side up to this point and it's one of the reasons I don't like Prue as much as other Charmed fans. Yeah she's smart and strong but she's also self-righteous and sometimes obnoxious (in fact, I'd bet that's probably why the writers gave her so many funny lines these past few episodes, because she was coming across as annoying and they needed to soften her up a bit). This is no disrespect to Shannon, though. She did a great job, it's the character that I don't like. And finally, Phoebe didn't just trust Cole's word that he loved her. Prue herself felt it when she had the empath's powers, not to mention the 15+ opportunities he had to kill Phoebe and didn't. And as for us the audience, we clearly see his struggles to follow through on his plans.
I wouldn't want a family member like you lol, Cole tried to kill the sisters and even wipe out there entire family line, Prue as a protective big sister tries to warn her and Phoebe herself saw so many obvious signs, if this was a real life situation they probably would have been killed, you don't have to hate a character to call out there flaws......... Phoebe taking the fight to Krell 🔥 Phoebe faking Cole’s death & lying to everyone is wild! Curious to see how that plays out. Wonderful reactions guys 🖤

I subscribed to you after a few episodes of you watching Buffy, one of my all time favs. Love you both but Sergio just always had the reactions I was hoping for and everyone he thinks is hot, I think is hot. I’ve just started this journey through Charmed with you and just have to tell you, I am so comforted by you guys during these viewings. I lost my best friend, my big sister, almost 2 years ago and these were some of our favorite shows and sometimes it’s like reliving them with her. Hopefully you guys never do Supernatural, or if you do it’s not for a looong time, because that was for sure our fave. But I just want to say thank you, it’s been great.

Sure we saw Angel as good but Buffy had to take some time to Kill Angel when he was Angelus and you want Phoebe to kill her love immediately after finding out? And Cole just killed the bounty hunter when he saw he was going to kill Phoebe. And we have seen him hesitate and if that’s not indicative of his feelings I don’t know what is? And Cole has a constant battle between good and evil within him. That he killed the triad. He basically did it for Pheobe . We need to cut her some slack ,jeez!!
Okay yes she did force Leo to heal Cole. But Leo is more willing to break rules when it comes to him and Piper. It's one of the things from Charmed that doesn't make much sense when you think of it. But it's still an enjoyable show.

You can't help who you love. Andy did what he did out of love and Phoebe did the same thing. Phoebe changed Cole and he changed her. Phoebe shouldve definitely told her sisters, but we see that she feels the same as it's tearing her up in the next episodes. Eventually she does tell them, tells everyone even though she's done with Cole as she never expects to see him again. All the sisters keep things from each other, it furthers the plot 😂 but also Phoebe continually gets blamed for her choices but no other sister does.

Pheobe only has premonitions when Cole gives into his human form.. his demon form blocks her from having premonitions on him being a demon. And the fact that she doesn’t have premonitions on command is what makes it even harder for her to ever get a premonition on Cole being a demon

While Phoebe isn't nearly as annoying as she was in Sight Unseen (3x5) she is still annoying with her love of Cole in both of these episodes. I understand from the outset that this is her first commitable relationship, but how she acts in relation to him feels like its taking a step back for her character. In the previous two seasons, Phoebe was all about finding herself, taking steps to grow away from the person she use to be, that's why she came back into their lives. It also takes her relationship with Prue backwards too, right as they started growing more of a bond, any time she has conflict with Prue over Cole she acts like a rebellious child yelling at a overprotective mother, and will either throw Prue's suspicion back in her face or act dismissive. But whenever Phoebe comes to the same conclusion Prue does that he's evil or can't be trusted she all of a sudden feels validated to condemn him as such. Which makes her a hypocrite.
Like back in Season 2, in the Painting episode Phoebe went out of her way to get Prue's car fixed that she cast a smart spell on herself to pass an aptitude test with the benefit of trying to raise money to fix Prue's car after she accidentally backed it into a pole. Yet in this episode, she ignores Prue's warning about running out of gas and just gives an offhanded remark about it, and doesn't even apologize for it. Then dumps her responsibilities off on Piper, while actively trying to sneak away from her to avoid confronting her about it, meaning she would've left if Piper hadn't caught her. it just shows how relationships negatively affect her priorities. Especially since in 3x8, she tries to avoid Prue who tries to come off as understanding, but acts like annoyed that Prue doesn't trust Cole, but then Prue brings up the fact Phoebe never liked any of the people she dated, so Phoebe can have a disapproval of her sister's dates, yet when Prue suspects something about Cole and doesn't trust him she acts all avoidant and dismissive? Again Phoebe is a hypocrite. I'm not saying Prue is perfect either, like in a later episode she becomes a hypocrite about the situation too, but the episode calls her out on it, meanwhile Phoebe isn't called out for being a hypocrite when it comes to Cole. It's also weird Prue mentions this because it also counts Andy, who Phoebe was never shown to dislike.
And by Season 2 even Prue knew how much she was growing, in Season 3, not only does she comes off as immature, she seems to take a lot more focus into her dating Cole than anything going on, and goes against her development from the first two seasons. Like at the beginning of 3x7, she just hyperfocused on Cole complaining about him being late (which makes her come off as pushy, lovestruck and possessive) while ignoring anything Prue says to her. Not only that it's always bothered me that she never gives a verbal apology the same way Prue and Piper did. Sure, she obviously feels bad about their fighting, given she confides in Cole after their heated argument caused by a rage demon, but when the sisters are all given their apologizes, Piper apologizes for her mean comment about "Grams saying she'd never amount to anything" and Prue apologizes for acting as if she doesn't act as if Phoebe has grown, but Phoebe never apologizes for running Prue's car out of gas and acting flippantly about it nor does she apologize for ditching Piper just to go out with Cole, and would've done so sneakly had Piper not caught her in time.
My rant aside, I enjoy both of these episodes a lot. It has a nice conflict, and adds some bit of humor in there and I like the reveal of Belthazor as Cole.

But you guys are completely forgetting the episode with the three brothers warlock with the one brother who wanted to be good. The sisters totally saved him even though he was only half human.

Plus the 'warlock brother almost killed an innocent and them! While he was trying to kill her, she wouldn't let her sisters vanquish him over a silly crush. Not to mention a certain future halfbreed ex that tries multiple times to kill an innocent and them, actively wanting to! Yet still won't let her sisters vanquish him. She's a self-righteous hypocrite.
I never got the Phoebe hate from fans for this episode. Yeah, she shouldn't have lied to her sisters, but at this point does anyone doubt that Prue would have gone on a major hunt to find and kill Cole if Phoebe told her he was alive even if Phoebe begged her not to? I'm 100% on Phoebe's side up to this point and it's one of the reasons I don't like Prue as much as other Charmed fans. Yeah she's smart and strong but she's also self-righteous and sometimes obnoxious (in fact, I'd bet that's probably why the writers gave her so many funny lines these past few episodes, because she was coming across as annoying and they needed to soften her up a bit). This is no disrespect to Shannon, though. She did a great job, it's the character that I don't like.
And finally, Phoebe didn't just trust Cole's word that he loved her. Prue herself felt it when she had the empath's powers, not to mention the 15+ opportunities he had to kill Phoebe and didn't. And as for us the audience, we clearly see his struggles to follow through on his plans.
I wouldn't want a family member like you lol, Cole tried to kill the sisters and even wipe out there entire family line, Prue as a protective big sister tries to warn her and Phoebe herself saw so many obvious signs, if this was a real life situation they probably would have been killed, you don't have to hate a character to call out there flaws......... Put yourself in Prue shoes and tell me what you would of done🤦🏽♂️

Due to MULTIPLE halfbreed demons we come across that disprove that notion entirely.
And this marks the downfall of Phoebe. Choosing a demon over her sisters...

Cole is not inherently evil just because he's part demon. We've already seen a case where a demon turned good back in season 1.
That being said, Phoebe was nuts not to vanquish his ass right there and then. Lol.
I think the guy from Season 1 was a warlock, not a demon. Warlocks are humans with powers, similar to witches except evil.

I subscribed to you after a few episodes of you watching Buffy, one of my all time favs. Love you both but Sergio just always had the reactions I was hoping for and everyone he thinks is hot, I think is hot. I’ve just started this journey through Charmed with you and just have to tell you, I am so comforted by you guys during these viewings. I lost my best friend, my big sister, almost 2 years ago and these were some of our favorite shows and sometimes it’s like reliving them with her. Hopefully you guys never do Supernatural, or if you do it’s not for a looong time, because that was for sure our fave. But I just want to say thank you, it’s been great.

Sure we saw Angel as good but Buffy had to take some time to Kill Angel when he was Angelus and you want Phoebe to kill her love immediately after finding out?
And Cole just killed the bounty hunter when he saw he was going to kill Phoebe. And we have seen him hesitate and if that’s not indicative of his feelings I don’t know what is? And Cole has a constant battle between good and evil within him. That he killed the triad. He basically did it for Pheobe .

Remember this when Prue saves a certain someone, who started out trying to kill an innocent and them, or a warlock hottie that was half evil and Prue wouldn't let her sisters vanquish him. This is why I HATED Prue, she's a ginormous hypocrite and self righteous prick. Alyssa might be a cun[ in real life but Phoebe and Cole get a lot of unnecessary hate.
