- Today I break down the do's and don'ts for first time riders, as well as some basic knowledge with riding. These are things that will help you to ease into bmx and the intimidating skatepark atmosphere. If you have any questions or suggestions for others, then please put them in the comments below.

Just learning how to ride and feel comfortable… elderly rider here no experience… lucky I have abandoned skate park close to home. The obstacles are scary though kind of. Look forward to learning and the experience.. thanks for video

Etiquette is basically common sense that some people just don't seem to have, and it's a shame these things need to be pointed out, but some people just have that attitude where they don't care about anyone but themselves. It's a global problem in general, such as people leaving rubbish in a field after a picnic or standing in the way in a supermarket. The world would be a much better place if people had a bit more common sense and paid more attention to the world outside their own little bubble. Sorry, rant over! Great vid as usual!
A few tricks and exercises for practicing that beginners would benefit from would be cool.

Tip from a dizzy person...instead of pumping in a circle..do a figure eight, and focus on looking forward instead of down.
I feel weird talking to my camera in front of people.. How do you do that?
I think what helped me was to look at the camera as a person, because you are actually talking to people. In the beginning I was kinda like that but once I was told to treat it like that then things changed. I hope that helps you!

Trey Jay is an absolute wild man. Also, Brian Anderson who is a pro skater. He put out a clip a few days ago doing barefoot kickflips. That sounds excruciating.
I had a mom yell at me for tailwhipping and landing on her son because he was sitting at the bottom of the stairs. She literally said.she was gonna call the cops on me even after I apologized 100 times to her kid.

I really wish I would have worn a helmet when I was younger. I have had a couple horrible head injuries in bmx and snowboarding. Now I'm paying for it and I'm only 31.

Should add to another video. That if your gonna go to the skatepark. Bring something to ride and ACTUALLY RIDE IT. Dont just sit/stand around and be annoying. If you wanna go to the skatepark to chill, stay out of the way or dont go at all.

Generally not. Most people are courteous in my experience. They will admit when they fucked up.

I’m goofy and I kick tailwhips with front foot and I spin towards my front foot but I barspin normally. I kick foojam whips with my back foot.
