I have a couple stories for this.
First one... I will keep this vague, but a movie was being filmed in town. There was a large company that had gone out of business, so there's a warehouse (huge, train tracks ran inside the warehouse for loading, catwalks 60' up along the ceiling, about 15 acres of indoor space, HUGE). This warehouse was mostly abandoned, with parts of it used by other smaller companies for storage. The movie studio however rented a lot of it out for equipment storage. One of the actors in the film, (A-list at the time) had his small fleet of classic cars stored there, as he was going to a car show while filming.
My friend was a security guard there, and often the only one on site. When the place was empty, he'd invite friends up there for indoor air-soft matches, etc. Very cool, and very illegal. But he invited me over to take a look at the cars that were stored there. We were up in the security area with the monitors, and a couple people came in, who I did not recognize, but my friend did. They were evidently (according to my friend) assistants to this celebrity, part of his personal entourage, lol. They didn't realize anyone was there and they banged in every one of those cars that night. They were deliberately trying to do it in as many cars as possible, like 10 pumps in the Corvette, then waddle, pants around their ankles to the Mustang, 20 second BJ, then hobble to the Viper... It didn't even look like they were having fun, just fucking in all the cars out of spite, lol.
This was a long time ago, and the actor has a reputation for being a complete douche-bag. I don't know if that's true or not, I never met them personally, but they were notorious when they were in town and the rumors were not favorable, so I suspect this was purely out of spite. I won't say who because I don't want to get them, or my friend in trouble, lol. It was so petty, it was hysterical. And the footage was pretty grainy, we couldn't really see anything too explicit, but it was very clear what they were doing. The ass-print left on the hood of that '67 El Camino is burned into my brain.
More recently, my office had security cameras in it for the whole building complex, which included a gym (unrelated to the business, but in the same building, same owner). This was a gym that was part of an high end apartment complex, so it was often just one person in there at a time. The number of people who face-planted on the treadmill was shocking. At least once a week, and usually the same guy. What made it so funny was every time, even though they knew they were alone, they'd get up and look around to make sure nobody saw. In reality an office of about 30 people saw it every time. The cameras were clearly visible, but I think they assumed nobody was monitoring, which in reality it was up on a 75" TV with a 12-screen split in an officer across the parking lot.

Alot of these security footage stories are sad, creepy, and/or depressing, so it's nice to see fun stories like story 14 (the recycling trick kick) which help keep things light after such heavy and creepy stories.
I hope the OP of Story 14 told the guy that he saw what he did and that the recycling trick was awesome :)
It sucks and can be disheartening when you do something cool like that, something that is such a fluke or something youl never be able to replicate, but there's noone around to see it, and you know if you tell people they most likely won't believe you :(
So if I was the OP of this story I would have found the guy the next day, taken the video footage to show him (and maybe make a copy for him to keep as proof of his awesome drunken trickshot), and told him how awesome that trick was and that I'm sorry noone else was around to see it.
With how OP described the guy as looking depressed when he realised noone had seen what he did, I think the guy would of been happy / appreciative to know that someone had actually seen his "bottle kick into the recycling" trickshot, and that it wasn't something he imagined while drunk, he had actually done it and pulled it off well :)
This guys awesome trick with the bottle, and his little celebratory dance, makes me wonder if the guy used to play football or if this was some wild one off fluke :/

Not a CCTV career, but one night we got a handful of notifications from one of our cameras at night. We check the cameras and the picture shows this guy in full black clothing just standing in our yard. His clothes were so dark we couldn’t even tell which way he was facing. He wasn’t moving either, just standing in our driveway. The screenshot we took of that still scares me.

Tangential, but a lot of these are drug, and mental health related, so: Had a patient in for a suicide watch. Jumped out of a 3rd story building. Said he had no desire to harm himself, but he'd taken meth and at the time he jumped was terrified of staying where he was, thought he would for sure die if he didn't get out right away. So, yeah, lots of things look disturbing to watch but if you know their mindset you're like, ok, I'd probably jump too.

Most of those nightvision monitors, peoples eyes glow.
Sadly, it’s not uncommon for people to attempt to kidnap infants. Chances are it was someone outside the window stalking the kid in hopes of seeing if they could kidnap them.
The eyes would appear in the monitor but when he would go to check, there wasn’t anything there, him leaving only to check the monitor again and seeing those eyes a second time, but after going to check and then never seeing those eyes again suggest it was a person. The guy probably gave up trying to see if the kid was gonna be an easy snatch after realizing the kid was being monitored so heavily.

For Story 11 I would need more details. Like how high were the eyes relative to the window, the size of the window and what country/continent op lives in. My presumption, assuming this guy lives in the US, it was a cougar because they're big enough to look through a window and not be noticed by someone who would go check since they are a cat. A coyote would probably be to small, a big dog or a bear would be too big. Technically it could be a racoon that jumped on the window sill. If this isn't in Ameria then tough luck to op.
Btw typically at night if you see eyes glowing thats eye shine alot of animals have it and fun fact humans dont have that.

    • @linkthelegend01

If the camera was a night vision CCTV, then human eyes would also glow on it. Likely not as bright as a cats would, but they would glow still.
