Great video Jeremy! You have a *very* understanding wife, and I say that amongst a lot of us collectors. I don't have a basement, and I don't have a large dining room to put anything on display. Instead, I have 3 large storage areas that I'm trying to sort out and film and put up on TH-cam, and maybe one day I'll have something out on display...

So I want you to know I’m not putting anyone down who is not displaying their collection. I’m just encouraging more people to try and display their collection.

You've a wonderful wife ! Mine won't allow me to do even 10 percents of this ^_^ Why putting shades ? By putting lights at different heights, the power cord will be far more integrated, and with some fancy light bulbs (or, let's get crazy, some Philips Hue color ones), it will give a nice modern look. My two cents ;)
I have some Nanoleaf bulbs on order, but I haven’t received them in time for the video. All the boxes on the wall have hue bulbs in them as well. So I can go crazy with the lighting.

Where did you get those light box shelves?
It’s an IKEA Besta cabinet with a frosted glass door. I added the lights myself. Just a bulb in the middle of the cabinet.
