Ahhhh White arrow, thems were the days, most of the transits had sliding front doors, drove one for a while and her name was Betsy, she had a few battle scars
What a great vid. I love old trucks, my dad used to drive those old ERF's. There are some very rare trucks there. There must be tens of thousands of pounds worth of lorry's lying around rotting. Shame
Hi mate don't suppose you can tell me when that place is been looking for one of those old ERF with 240 Gardner to buy for ages I would like to go and see the owner and sort a deal
ERF at 19:56 SMA 13H was brand new to Woodwards of Macclesfield in March 1970, flatbed. Haydon's bought her 1973 for livestock haulage. Ran for about 25 years, Gardner 120. I moved house with that wagon in 1974 but she'd been washed out! 😊
the green ERF at 19:56 was owned by haydon and sons as you can see on the door was in Biddulph stoke on Trent the town i live in can remember seen them round many years ago and ERF truck cabs were made at a company in Biddulph Moor they were made from fiberglass the place is still there but now makes electric meter boxes ECT
Great video and re visit, love the old classic trucks , that yellow fuel truck was probably a heating fuel delivery truck, they are about 20 miles from where I live
Foden aec erf etc were old independent trucks British made then daf who were Dutch came along late 70s early 80s and took over Leyland carried on and became Leyland daf trucks but are all gone now as always the politicians are short sighted and don't invest in our products. 😢
Love a good lorry ! I can tell you, having driven an ERF they weren't good by any stretch of the imagination. Make a nice 4 bed camper that tanker. You'd just suffocate the guests 😂
You two look dodgy when walking down the road 😂 don't understand why they are sat there plenty of parts to sell if not sell the trucks on or scrap them and a bin truck i used to build the compacters and fit them to new trucks being a welder fabricator was different but still good to watch stu 👍
