Just found this! I’m planning on doing my Masters at Glasgow, and as a US student my masters tuition is about €20,000, same as it would be in my state, and cost of living is so much cheaper. Everything you said pretty much demented that I’m on the right track.

I have received an offer to study Msc Cybersecurity @RGU. My tutiotion fee is 13400GBP. I am going to take an education loan to finance this tuition fee along with all other living expenses - from food to flight tickets- everything.... Is 25000GBP enough for this? (25000-13400 = 11600GBP(living expense for an year). I will also be doing a part time job. Also, Is it easy to recover 25000GBP after completion of course.

Also klar kann man nebenbei arbeiten aber kommt man da auf die 700 Pfund oder was du meintest was du in den ersten Monaten ausgegeben hast, kann ich mir kaum vorstellen. Muss man da schon einiges gespart haben oder wie? Weit von Zuhause ohne Geld zu sitzen macht mir schon sehr Angst.
Many people have part-time jobs! :) One of my friends used to work 2 jobs, then she found 1 good paying job. It definitely requires good time management but it's possible. Also, if you don't live in halls you could easily need less than 700. Savings are always recommended tho :)
Also, usually the contact hours in university aren't that much because they know people have part-time jobs. Of course it depends and there are definitely courses where you are in uni many hours! Maybe check that before applying by reaching out to someone :)

If you would have gotten support when studying in Germany, you will probably also get support abroad! Defo check that out. One of my German friends lived of his Bafög when studying in Scotland :)

Unfortunately not 😰They do give loans, but only to Scottish students. 👀However, you could check if your university awards scholarships and apply for that. Or you can research whether you can get funding or a loan from your home country 😊🌈✈️

I don't know much about the one in Glasgow but I am going to RGU 😎 RGU is a very modern uni and great for practical courses! 😋 Aberdeen itself isn't the best city in Scotland because it's super grey... but there are nice coffee shops and restaurants and cool day trips 🙋🏽♀️Glasgow is great because you have an airport with lots of cheap flights 😀and it's also good for shopping. I much prefer Edinburgh tho! 🧡

Because that will stop you from attracting money into your life 😘Second of all: I defo recommend having savings for the move and the first few months; however it's totally possible to sustain your living expenses with a part-time job. For tuition fees (which you'll have as an international from outside the EU) maybe check for scholarships! 💗 IT IS TOTALLY POSSIBLE GIRL 😘
I think it will be more expensive because Toronto is much bigger than Aberdeen. However, Aberdeen is already super expensive so I hope it's not much more expensive! Will defo keep you guys updated. x

Yes every uni usually offers halls! No they are not free they are unfortunately quite expensive... at least in Aberdeen :D

Thank you! So I did research and I found only 2 universities with real pharmacy degrees the one is in the university of strathclyde in Glasgow and the other in robert gordon university in Aberdeen... What is the best in your opinion?
I don't know much about the one in Glasgow but I am going to RGU 😎 RGU is a very modern uni and great for practical courses! 😋 Aberdeen itself isn't the best city in Scotland because it's super grey... but there are nice coffee shops and restaurants and cool day trips 🙋🏽♀️Glasgow is great because you have an airport with lots of cheap flights 😀and it's also good for shopping. I much prefer Edinburgh tho! 🧡

Because that will stop you from attracting money into your life 😘Second of all: I defo recommend having savings for the move and the first few months; however it's totally possible to sustain your living expenses with a part-time job. For tuition fees (which you'll have as an international from outside the EU) maybe check for scholarships! 💗

I think it will be more expensive because Toronto is much bigger than Aberdeen. However, Aberdeen is already super expensive so I hope it's not much more expensive! Will defo keep you guys updated. x
