    I love the gift idea! Especially when it comes to sweets it can also easily be paired with "stuff that reminds you of home", because sweets usually last quite long!

    Very nice video, ❤️🤗😁Your charm is irresistible!! You look energetic. You have a great smile. I love you!! Having friends from other cultures makes me more creative. In fresh ways about space and how people create their own world and environment. It is best way to connect between creative thinking and cross-cultural relationships.

    Hey! So this is more about my extracurricular activities that I partake in rather than a broad topic like “shoes” or “toiletries” so it’s alright if you don’t have an answer. I will be studying for a whole school year in Japan (I leave in August) and I love doing a whole bunch of different art mediums and I use them all quite often (I do sculpting, watercolor painting, regular painting, traditional art done with artist markers and stuff of the like, digital art, and regular ol’ pencil and paper sketching). How many of these mediums can I bring with me on my trip? What would be too excessive?

      If that brings you a lot of your happiness you should defo try to bring those things! 😊💛I personally bring quite a few journals and my tarot and oracle cards with me - they aren't the lightest either. But they bring me a lot of joy so I'd rather have them and pack a few clothes less. 😊

      Laura Langheinrich Alright, I’ll try and do my best wrestling my art stuff through TSA, haha. Thanks for the reply!

      rass berrs I’m going to Japan for a year too and I also like art. I’m only bringing my watercolour pencils and my prima watercolours because they are my all time favourites. I also only bring a couple of journals that I already started an know I would want to use when I’m there. Japan has very good quality supplies for an affordable price (at least it seemed that way last time I was there for a trip) so I’m pretty sure that I can buy all the other supplies I might want to need there. Obviously it’s all up to you. If you really love the supplies you have at home and you can fit them in your suitcase then definitely bring them. I hope that helps a bit. ☺️

    What a great video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!

    hi! would you advise to bring hair straightener from back home? i'm going to the US to study abroad, and a dollar is very expensive since my country has a very low exchange rate, do you think it's better to bring mine from home or to buy there? (side note i got the multiple plug)

    • @LauraLangheinrich
      @LauraLangheinrich  5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Thank you so much for the video! I want to ask, here in Europe electronics are charged on 220 volt, but in America it is 120 volt. How can i use my hair straightener or charge my pc and mobile phone? Thank you 🙏

    • @sadxtango
      @sadxtango 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      highly unadvisable to to plug 120 into 220! it'll fry your stuff. Adaptors would work for electronics, but don't bring your straightener haha

      hi! adapters work for electronics but for your hair straightener you can buy a voltage converter!
