You wouldn't think the messiest most complicated relationship in Stray Gods would be Freddie and Grace's. I mean, friends to lovers, how can that go wrong?
That's why I love it, it punched me in the face and I thanked it.
Every time I listen to It's Time I just break down all over again. God, that game made me cry so many tears. Arguably one of the best lesbian romance I've ever witnessed in a game. Who would have thought useless lesbians married with greek tragedies so well?
Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey are voices in this game?! Oh, that adds another Gay level to this game. 😍
Wonder if you can make a flow chart of the women of Critical Role romancing each others characters between Ashley Johnson, Laura Bailey and Marisha Rey from in their DnD show campaigns and their roles in other games, like Xoti and Gaia’s romance in Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire. Beau and Yasha in Critical Role and… you know the recent thing.
Also, The girl voicing Freddie is Janina Gavankar, She played Papi in the Oringinal L Word... SO even gayer!

1.) *_Favorite_** --* The [Grace (Laura Bailey) + Freddie (Janina Gavankar)] romance route really is the best story of the romance options. It manages to be _heartbreaking_ [(1:39:00) - It's Time], _heartfelt_ [(1:49:57) - If Only)], and _heartwarming_ [(2:14:35) - If Only (Reprise)] across the game-story. If there is to be a _'Canon'_ ending for *[Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical (2023) video game],* I hope it is the [Grace + Freddie] route.
2.) [1:40:58] *_"You would give up godhood, to bring her back?" "Any day, every day."_** --* An easily overlooked, but _significant,_ animation detail..? If you look at Calliope's (Ashley Johnson) face, Calliope smiles at Grace's willingness to give up godhood for _Love_ of Freddie, giving Calliope the precious gift of *VINDICATION,* showing Calliope that she made the correct decision in making Grace her Eidolon-successor.

I’m sorry, but I can’t get behind it. Not with the implication that I gave her PTSD from reviving her
I know there's no "canon" romance but this feels like what it would be if there were. In my opinion it just fits so much better than the others. Leaving Freddy dead and romancing somebody else doesn't make her not in love with Grace after all. It almost feels like the whole story was written with this romance in mind and then the others were added later.
This game is amazing and I love it so much, Freddie is my favorite romance, they are the best. I've already played this game three times and not tired of it

(I'm writing this before getting to that point in the video, who knows if there is a branch to the song that doesn't have that line 😅😅)

Wintory was so afraid of Players missing out on _'Everything',_ that Wintory made a specific point to include _'Everything'_ in the [Stray Gods - Pantheon Edition (Original Game Soundtrack)] album (the "Canon" album, opposed to the [color-specific] alternate albums).

**SPOILER**
Persephone and Grace do kiss but it's at the very very end of the game. In fact, the moment they lock lips is when it fades to the credits. It's very quick but it's definitely there.

Hey, I know I'm late, but my interpretation: They're aiming their suspicions at Athena during this scene. This option would unlock if you have the "clever" trait, but if you're clever, you'd know you wouldn't be missing anything, because the suspicion is right. A bit of foreshadowing. Not sure though, could just be a glitch. 🤷

Same boat. I'm a fan of musicals, but the construction of these songs isn't it. Most of them don't have any meaningful hooks or themes to make the storytelling compelling or the singers to work their magic on them.
