- Aside from the Original i've also included the Intro from the "Reanimation"-Remix in my arrangement, Linkin Park also used it themselves in some live shows. I also included some stuff from the live version with Chris Cornell.
As always, arranged, played, recorded and edited by me.
Let me know what you think in the comments!

I've wanted to do this video for quite long time now, but i was away from home and didn't have my recording equipment, so thats why it took a while.
Linkin Park was literally the first band I ever liked and consciously seeked out music from. I first discovered them while watching Naruto AMVs on TH-cam (yeah, it was that time), and I still remember how I asked my parents to get me a copy of "Meteora" when I was about 9 or 10 years old or so. Their first 3 albums are pretty much burnt into my DNA by now.
They are one of the bands that stuck with me through the years. As i got older my view on their music changed a lot of course as i learned english and started to understand what their music was actually about. Although i couldn't get into a lot of their new stuff as much, I still keep returning to their older albums a lot.
When Chester died it really broke my heart.
Rest in Peace. - เพลง
sir,you make my tears fall down.....
tribute to chester......
thanks sir....
Man, who tf could dislike this?
Joe, I’m a little older than you but I still remember getting the albums when they came out and like you, burning them into my DNA. I would put the CDs into my boombox and play with headphones until I fell asleep. You are wonderfully disciplined and talented. I’m a grown man, a Marine veteran, and you’ve brought me to tears with your craft and talent. Thank you for this.
Matthew Storms agreed
@@edgychild2538 I know, right? Even the people who yell about how we need to support our troops do them dirty sometimes.
Felt the same way. I’m from Brazil and remember when I was a kid my older brother came to me and presented me Linkin Park. Was the first band I heard and collected the albums.
Never thought there could be a version better than the original
Krwlng will always be the most beautiful Linkin Park song that they've ever made. Listening to it everytime will always bring me back to middle school...
You managed to bring out the perfection in this composition.
One of the best covers of a song I've found on the internet. Thank you!!!
brings crawling in my skin..
Thank u for this vision of the masterpiece.
These wounds, they will not heal. Rip Chester.
Reanimation version.. love it
Its so emotional music at the same time its really soo beautiful ~
tears..
And the beginning sounded perfect!! I will always love that beginning of the song!
I'm loving this cello to this song. It's so beautiful.
Playing like Joel is one big thing, but composing such song is another level too. So many years and we listen to this again and again. Can't get enough of this song, especially with such performance like you Joel. Congratulations.
Absolutely amazing. Stunned.
first 10 seconds…that’s all it takes me to cry
Back here to shed tears. You really captured the hopelessness of this song, man. Well done.
Reading the description to this video strikes home in more ways than one. I was probably 5 or 6 years old when my dad gave me a CD player for Christmas, and with it, a CD he had burned with a selection of songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora. And for the next 5 years, I listened to Linkin Park like it was the ticket to heaven. And in a way, it was, at least for me.
I can say that they are no longer my favorite band. But they were my first favorite band, and so they'll always have a very special place in my heart that no other band could ever fill.
I was at writing a paper on a school computer when I looked down at my phone and saw the news. A piece of me died right then and there. I turned on One More Light, set it to repeat, and sat in silence.
...I didn't finish the paper that day.
Thank you, my 17 year old self from 2001 is bursting out with joy. This is the greatest.
Omg this is so beautiful, perfect

This is so amazing. I want to hear more! Please record more Linkin Park songs :D
Am I looking a piece of heaven on earth? :O
Something about the tone and vibrato of a well-played cello heightens the listener's emotional response. Combine that with this masterfully crafted melody and harmony, building layers upon layers of upper chord extensions (all of which you added flawlessly), then further add the background knowledge of the lyrics and the real-life tragedy - this just completely floored me. What an emotional powerhouse this is. I'm still reeling.
Okay, definitely the best string cover out there for Crawling. You've nailed the sound beautifully in many different creative ways.
You're fabulous bro...

Reanimation is a masterpiece, their early stuff is genius, like you also can't belive metallica made masterpieces when they where 25 years old. Chester is hands down the best vocalist that lived period, but the genius of the whole band was what made it all so amazing... they just found the right people at the right time... and also, very nice cover mate, your very talented. Make's me wanna shed a tear listening to this.
Time to back to this cover 💕

Love it!!! Beautiful ! Thank you!
Amazing!
Discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting, reacting
Against my will I stand beside my own reflection
It's haunting how I can't seem
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence I'm convinced
That there's just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure
I'm in shock
Discomfort endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Goosebumps... Thanks for this!
Added to favourite, this is too good
