You can't trust ANYTHING in Lethal Company, and a WALKING JACK IN THE BOX is probably the thing you would trust the LEAST.
To be fair, if you are new to the game and saw a box with Barbie legs and an arm speed walking at you with no clear objective, you'd shit yourself too

funny enough, that’s probably not the worst luck that group has had with the monsters 💀
They only had one or two mods installed and none of them were the chaos company mod. The mods were increased lobby count and (this is one I’m not sure of) more skins. That group has seen some CRAZY stuff in Lethal Company but that clip is arguably one of the most chaotic in terms of monster groups.

Imagine if the dev ever decides to release a new moon where it’s the coil head factory, and the facility is just a huge warehouse filled with inanimate coil heads, with some real ones hidden around
If only people didn’t know about the Jack in the box, i’d say it just tries to scare you only for my friends to stay in the facility while Jack cooks.

my theory about the jester is that it can feel vibration or sound inside its box, and of course, that big head and skull of it cannot fit inside that box it has, it develops its head inside the box. I also have another theory, what if jester was once a human? seeing that it has human like limbs, it could of been a human before, maybe one of the crew mates on a previous ship. maybe it could of even been a person from the notes ( if you read the notes in the game, there is this one main person that was a previous crew mate that had gone crazy, as he stated himself and died ) he could of become a creature and became the jester. and here’s one small 3rd theory, what if the company turns people into creatures? that could be the answer for how the main guy in the notes turned into the jester.
but of course that’s just a theory..

The jester is epic, from the beginning of time with games and horror movies, nothing is more terrifying than very fast steps coming at you from an unknown location, the other horror aspect nobody cares about that triumphs over others is uncanny valley type horror, something that you just catch a glimpse of and need to turn away because of how uneasy the thing looks, Event Horizon back in the day did a pretty good job of this concept. An example is a pale bloody figure with no eyes staring at you as you walk into a room.
