It's all fine, it's only Russia that lives patriarchally with family values, but the problem is that I don't know how those who go to Russia get Asylum, what do they live on because Russia doesn't have benefits, for example, strong Social Assistance, or they pay strong salaries, for example 3,000 to 4,000 euros. .. Child allowances are 3 times smaller than in Denmark and Austria where I live, that's the problem I thought, but she. A family from America that moved to Russia sold a house in Louisiana for 700 thousand dollars and then it's easy to move go to Russia, but let a man come who has 5,10,000 at most in his wallet, from which some people will live, let's be naive

Very helpful, thank you. I have no problem flying into Istanbul or even Dubai for a extra little vacation but the money issue is what stops me. The thought of only having cash until an exchange in Russia is terrifying. Nobody ever says what you would do if you are robbed or something else happens, and have no access to your money. The only realistic way would be to have friends, family, a job, or be a student. Without those options, I don’t think traveling to Russia is doable. I’m sad about that. Hi Scottish Guy! I wonder and I am curious.... Can I use the Kaliningrad border crossing from Poland to enter Russia? I think there is a train that goes from Kaliningrad to St. Petersburg... but I dont know the border control between the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad and Poland... Can people not from Poland cross the Russian Border in Kaliningrad?
I haven’t watched all your videos yet, so you might have covered this in one of them. I wanted to understand how you manage your money considering that you have an income derived in the UK but you live in Russia and I assume must bank in Russia. How do you get your UK money to your Russian bank account? Are there restrictions considering sanctions etc ?
The moeny has to be brought in dollars (or other currency) and exchanged. rather in a private excnhae office than banks cause they have better rate by few rubles per dollar /euro

I’m learning Russian and the best approach is choosing from a multitude of free on-line TH-camrs and then picking a program and an on-line tutor. If you start with a typical grammar textbook, you will be discouraged because the grammar is difficult. I do find “Russian for Dummies” a helpful explanation of the grammar to just get your head above water
Soviet movies and fairytales with subs here on yt + learning grammar properly from the very beginning. Learning by only book would be to boring. Later, as you progress, I would start trying to read classical books, with translation (I’ve heard there are some books with Russian-English text). Anyway, your success depends on how intense do you learn by yourself and is there a real inner motivation to master the language. Don’t rely on any tutors and courses, it’s a semiscam. Everything you need is in internet for free. At least that’s my experience with learning German. No course brought me so much success as a disciplined individual effort/work/search etc. My motivation was to be able to read books in German and to understand spoken language. Which took me approximately 3 years
Also you should be prepared that first stage of the process is the most unpleasant and hard for the brain as every other unknown activity. And it gets easier as you digs in deeper to the point when it begins to feel pleasure dealing with the language. Again, no tutor or magic courses in the world gives you the will to overcome the first unpleasant stage. Everything is up to you only and your inner motivation. Otherwise you’ll give up

1. Monetization for Russian traffic it completely switched off 2 years ago. 2. Now it switched off any monetization for accounts registered in Russia. So, if you have Russian auditory - you earn nothing. And if you have Russian account - there are no any earnings at all even if your auditory is foreign (attempt to switch off any bloggers who show life in Russia for foreigners).

Question for the Scotsman plz-you said in a previous video 13% tax in Russia and is this tax on your foreign earnings (in which case do you pay both Scottish and Russian taxes)? And are you a “remote” teacher for kids in Scotland, that you live in Russia but videoconference into schools/homes in Scotland? Plz advise w thx!
An ordinary tourist visa can be: single entry for a period of up to one month (for foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation as a tourist in an organized tourist group of at least five persons) single or double for a period of up to three months Multiple-entry for a period of up to 6 months (in this case the stay of a foreign citizen on the territory of the Russian Federation may not exceed 90 days out of every 180)
So depends which you have, but rule is that tourist (or business) visas work that you can be 50% per period, if 1 year visa, then its 90 days per half a year, then you have to enter the country again

There is a lot of singers and bands in Moscow singing live everywhere. In bars, on streets, in concert halls in all music genres.

Will subscribe to Igor’s channel!
Good time. Don't worry, there are no problems with this in Russia, upon arrival, form a free or paid card whatever you want and, you can have a few so that the money is in your pocket on the card, it's a matter of a few minutes in Russia. set a limit on the most unusual purchases, and you will use them without any problems. In case of loss of the card, it can be blocked immediately by calling the bank's operator's hotline. Next, the bank can give you another card, this is done quickly. But this is a very extreme case, you can leave the card at home, use the online card from your phone without any problems. So you can be calm. 😊🇷🇺💯❤👍👋

Hello, what's the best book for an English speaker to learn Russian?

Is that monetisation from google now completely switched off in Russia?

And are you a “remote” teacher for kids in Scotland, that you live in Russia but videoconference into schools/homes in Scotland? Plz advise w thx!

I thought a tourist visa was 90days?? Igor said 15days?
An ordinary tourist visa can be:
single entry for a period of up to one month (for foreign citizens entering the Russian Federation as a tourist in an organized tourist group of at least five persons)
single or double for a period of up to three months
Multiple-entry for a period of up to 6 months (in this case the stay of a foreign citizen on the territory of the Russian Federation may not exceed 90 days out of every 180)
So depends which you have, but rule is that tourist (or business) visas work that you can be 50% per period, if 1 year visa, then its 90 days per half a year, then you have to enter the country again
