Everyone in the US please call your Representative and ask for DCVax to be fast tracked by the FDA. We need this treatment here in the US like they have access in the UK.
This is HUGE, a real breakthrough in solid tumor treatment.
After the JAMA article, there was a great amount of coverage on outside of the US, but not so much inside the US. Hopefully, we'll see that change now.

To be fair, he said the company submitted 750,000 pages of documentation to the FDA so far, so it might take regulators a bit of time to assess all of that.

Brilliant. Appreciation to all involved in this breakthrough . I had brain tumour surgery for gmb 2 months ago and now will go through standard 6 weeks radiation and chemotherapy. I wonder if it is possible to participate in the trial vsccine in lifespan?

Only two out of dozens of treatment modalities have had any successes -- electric field treatments and immuno-therapy.
The recent immuno-therapies are this one, where a customized immuno-phagocytes and antibody package is trained and amplified/cultured off-site from the patient sample extracting location, then brought back to the patient for inoculation with the engineered immuno-stimulating package.
The other one that has shown promise, is the modified polio virus treatments, which does something similar except it does not have to be customized to the patient, as the polio virus has a natural affinity for infecting cancer cells.

Have they paid enough congresspeople and hired enough FDA employees at outrageous salaries so they can get this on the market? Obviously if it works it won't be allowed in the US, there's no money in healthy people, only if it's going to hurt us down the line will this have a chance of making it.
That's where you're wrong. If they cure cancer then more people can continue eating junk food and smoking cigarettes...2 of the highest causes. If the cigarette industry was smart they'd be the ones fully funding this. Same with the junkfood industry. Your logic is wanting.

My bother has brain cancer and I am actively looking for alternative therapys to kemo since the doctors have determined this unoperable. At this time my brother has been given 3 months of kemo and soon he will go to "The City of Hope" to have more intensive kemo therapy. I have also seen a therapy that uses unactivated polio vaccine that was even more promising then this treatment. Why do the clinical trials take 6.5 years to complete? The FDA could fast track this since so many people are dieing why they thewdle their thumbs.
You would think there would be pressure on the FDA especially since Pres. Biden's son died from gbm too.

My uncle died of brain cancer. It was horrible. If faced with that diagnosis, you'd swallow plastic straws if it offered any possibility of treatment.
