Atozy there's a guy here on TH-cam who calls himself "Turtleboy" doing exactly what this Tik Tok "psychic" did. He actually just got arrested in Massachusetts for witness intimidation, along with 9 other counts, as a direct result of his "web sleuth" antics. A year ago a cop died in Massachusetts and his girlfriend is soon to go on trial for his alleged murder. She's currently out on bond, and Turtleboy is convinced it's a set up. He believes she's being framed by the police, hospital staff, and many many many other people, which is laughably absurd. He likes to exploit innocent people, not unlike the Tik Tok "psychic". Turtleboy claims that the cop's friends are the "actual murderers". He repeats this claim during livestreams. He doesn't speculate, he says they ARE "the real" killers. It's making the lives of the people he harasses very very difficult. He's been showing up at their places of work, showing up at their homes, showing up at their kids' sporting events, etc... Some of the people he harasses are witnesses in the trial, hence why he got busted for witness tampering. Turtleboy has even gone as far as publicly attacking the family of the deceased cop, as they do not appreciate his meddling. It's a VERY deep rabbit hole but worth diving into if you want some interesting content. If you find yourself interested I could possibly put you in touch with people connected to the case. I'm involved with the anti-Turtleboy pushback. We believe in supporting his victims (and there are many.)
The fact that she continued to double down at EVERY SINGLE OPPORTUNITY they gave her to back out gracefully is just ASTONISHING. She got what was coming to her, tbh.
You know how this is shaping up she will be hired by Disney and be Kathleen Kennedy right hand the way she wouldn't back down even though it meant her end will prob give KK a hard on and hire her on the spot to direct the next Indiana Jones or Marvel movie.
You're probably right but I think you're grossly overestimating her abillity to contact any lawyer before diving into this case like a squirrel into a wood chip machine
And you can see the exact moments before and after. Before she was talking about being so happy to go to court and prove her side. After a lawyer tells her it’s dumb as hell she starts going off about how it’s a frivolous lawsuit that should be dismissed.
@@danielhoward755 I think Go Fund Me has restrictions against soliciting funds when a civil suit is decided against you. It's a shame that potential donors themselves aren't wiser with their funds.
The fact she thinks she can accuse someone of orchestrating 4 murders and then get away scot-free with it by saying they are her “spiritual beliefs” is one of the most ridiculous parts of this whole thing i stg
Honestly it's questionable if she even truly believes in those beliefs at all considering the spiritual/tarot community have a pretty standard line of not using it for "solving crimes and murders". I mean it's the same reason why christians can't just use god for court cases anymore. It's not the olden days anymore and majority of these communities know you're not supposed to use it outside of discrimination lawsuits. Yet every year there's a handful of people from all these religions/spiritualities that still try to ruin it for everyone... thinking they're special or something over everyone else in their community.
@@whoahanantshe's the type that spends hundreds of dollars on quartz crystals, yknow, the same type you can dig up in your own yard for the low low price of a shovel. 😅😅
That she thought she could walk into the court room and suddenly have this woman... Arrested? By convincing a judge? This woman needs to be checked in for a few days to see if she's actually all good.
We know she really doesn’t but it is interesting how far people are willing to go just to try and avoid any form of repercussion or accountability. While “it’s all in the mind and reality is what we perceive it as” is partially true, people seem to forget about the physical aspects of reality too. They tend to buy into their own bullshit hoping that’ll actually change reality itself.
As someone that's been a civil attorney for 7 years, some of the things I see her argue cause me physical pain from the cringe and facepalms. On the other hand, I am not the least bit surprised to see these arguments come from a self-represented individual. Even as a lawyer, if I was being sued, I would not represent myself. It's never a good idea.
You should always get somebody to look at things without a bias. You yourself can never assess your situation without bias and might not realise how the situation actually looks/is.
As someone who's been a court reporter, I am surprised that the judge is being so tolerant about nonsensical motions that are clearly a waste of the court's time.
Imagine waking up and some random woman on TikTok starts accusing you of murder and literally tries to ruin your life for no reason but views. The damage she has done to this poor woman, Kaylee’s memory and her family, and pretty much everyone involved is phenomenal.
Imagine if you brutally died in cold blood and some random woman on TikTok starts accusing you of of having a scandalous love affair with some random professor at the university you attend and ruin whatever good name had for no reason but views. Honestly it is one thing to stupidly attack the living but to disrespect the dead??
It’s irritating to me that Rebecca had to spend money to defend herself. This case should have been decided the second she missed the deadline. Even if she was defending herself she shouldn’t have gotten special treatment causing expense for the professor.
Ummmm I guess your 12 and don’t know but it’s basic……if they win the lawsuit REBECCA WILL HAVE TO PAY THEIR LEGAL FEES…….that’s HOW civil courts work, hope you didn’t think it was criminal too. 🙄😂 But yea…..so you’re wrong. She lost, the loser has to pay legal fees of the other party.
@@6Haunted-Days ummmmm. I guess you're rude, not for being WRONG but for being such an ass to the person you're replying to. Let's say they were wrong, which they are not, why on earth would that mean they're 12? That is the dumbest thing and it really makes it sound like you're almost 13 and feel like a big girl/boy because that comment (what are you 12?) is used in situations when the person is wrong about something that is basically general knowledge to an adult, not some obscure thing like inter-state civil lawsuits. Most people who are good, law-abiding people don't have to keep up with how lawsuits work. Why should they if they will probably never be involved with one? So stop being such a pompous ass, ESPECIALLY when you're wrong. I should say when you're most likely wrong, it's not worth my time to look up laws in ID, but I'm going to go with how it is with the majority of the country. (Have you heard of the sub Confidently Incorrect? You are the type of person who gets posted there). In the rare chance you live in ID and you know that bankruptcy doesn't stay civil lawsuits, you're still an ass for assuming everyone knows this. You got half of that correct, yes, officially Ashley has to pay the legal fees, but Rebecca is most likely out this money and will never see a penny. Usually in these types of cases where an individual loses, the defendant will file for bankruptcy, and in most states, will never have to pay a penny. that's why most people won't sue another individual unless there's an insurance policy that will pay or it's someone who is financially secure enough to not file for bankruptcy because they'll never see the money. I'm just guessing but a single mom in America, who probably doesn't come from wealth, will go for bankruptcy, most people in America who aren't wealthy would choose bankruptcy over having a $75,000+ debt hanging over their head for life. Also, I believe Ashley is more likely to go that route too, because she believes she's right, my poker cards and the moon, (they make all my decisions for me) both told me she will do whatever she has to to avoid paying out a penny to Rebecca. I'm sure Rebecca knows this but is going through this just to get it to stop and to hopefully teach her not to do this shit again.
@@killgoretrout877 ah yes the famously impartial American judicial system 🙄 you don’t need to call out her race to state that this woman is a shitbag person. Makes you seem as delulu as her honestly

Fun fact: In Dante’s Inferno he said fortune tellers and other false psychics were condemned to walk hell with their heads backwards. Never able to see what is ahead of them.
I purchased the video game in essence to get the cliffnotes on the actual book. I still haven't read it, but Its been on my bucket list for year's because of that game.
My favorite part is saying "I have physical evidence" then later in the lawsuit saying "they won't let me go through her Facebook to find evidence". Like actual face palm. I cannot believe someone like this exists and/or how she had so many followers.
You guys better wake tf up. These people exist, they have many followers & enablers, and they're also running for political offices. It's all fun and games when they lie on other women, but it gets serious when one targets you.
You’d be surprised how a lot of women blindly follow these type of people because it “sounds good”. One woman killed her kids during the blood moon and she was into this type of stuff. Anytime a woman asks your zodiac sign RUN!
I like how she didn't know you could sue people across state lines. "Oh yeah I just commit fraud in New York. I'll move to Florida and there's nothing they can do!"
She deliberately tried to ruin an innocent woman’s life for literally no reason!! She continued to make a mockery of everyone ( the poor murdered victims justice, the professor, etc…), she deserves to get what’s coming!
I don't believe that's true. But I do believe that she's not mentally well. And I have no doubt that she actually believes this s*** that's the scariest part
Well she believes she's psychic, so she's either a grifter or actually insane. Oh for the days when we actually locked up people who heard voices in their heads.
I am very happy that Rebecca Scofield got justice. My heart breaks for Ashley's child, too. It's like the Pink Sauce lady all over. Kids are punished for their bad parents. But the court ruling needed to happen.
If I had a nickel for everytime a black woman on tik tok got herself in a problem by their own hands and blamed racism and big corporations instead of themselves for their poor decisions, who have children that will feel the consequences of those actions, i’d have TWO nickels which isnt a lot but its weird that it happened twice right
Grew up with a mum like her, her family was also like her, it sucked so much, thankfully at 20 was able to go live with my dad before going to work etc, I still think I'm not fully ok mentally, but I just go on day by day, growing up with crazy people like her drains ya will to live or makes you like em
@@valawaters103That isn’t how things work. That’s what free will is.

Of course her last two brain cells can only think so much, so it didn't register that she shouldn't try that and would be seen as a coward regardless.
She should've just backed down. You can't be willing to attempt to go further when you're cornered by everyone else. Hopefully the professor sleeps well knowing anyone else isn't going to try and defame her again.
You have no choice but to do so when backed into a corner, right or wrong (in this case Ashley is actually wrong and definitely should have backed down)
The fact that she said I should go to Bali and enjoy my life while she litreally shat on the life of so many friends and family and the professor for months is different kind of evil she need to put under the prision
I still love her complaints about how she wasn't given full, unlimited access to the professor's social media because she "knows the evidence is in there!" and doesn't understand you can't just make a claim about someone, and THEN go hunting for "evidence". All that was happening while she just forgot or ignored to do her legal paperwork, and wondered why no lawyer would represent her in the way she wanted, AND STILL plays the biggest victim in the world.
And then she wanted to call their lawyer as a witness. Like, um... No? You can't call someone's lawyer to the stand, especially if they're currently representing them IN THE SAME COURT CASE YOU WANT TO CALL THEM TO!
NEVER FAILS!! Criminals ALWAYS complain, "I'm not treated fairly!! It's wrong, it's so unfair!!" They are the FIRST people to use the system against us and cry when it's used PROPERLY against them.
The only thing thats scarier than this, is the fact that thousands of people dont have enough common sense to realize shes lying and actually support her
She’s a mother, imagine having a mother like this, in her mind she will always be right no matter what the evidence is. I feel sorry for those kids. I feel sorry for the families and people effected by the lies of this woman when they are already suffering enough.
My favourite part is when she says, "I can't wait to go to court and share my IDEAS...". Well the problem is if you are trying to prove how you didn't defame someone, the first thing is you better already have information that is better than just ideas. What a lunatic.
She also claimed to have physical proof, which she oddly seems to have never presented. Crazy, that. It’s almost like this was all a deranged idea she cooked up… 🙄
I doubt this woman has much to take. The professor probably won’t even recoup her attorney’s fees and that pisses me off. The professor really had no choice but to sue. Second, if Kaylee was my daughter I would be beyond furious to see her name in this lawsuit. How dare this woman?
I'm pretty sure Kaylee's parents would have standing to sue on behalf of her estate. I wouldn't be surprised if, if Kohberger's trial is over before the statute of limitations on defamation is up, they brought their own suit.
Oh no, she was actually doing really well, making money online. Had a very nice house, the whole thing. Loyal following. Until she did this stupid crap. SMH. The followers still go around arguing for her🙄🤦🏻♀️
It’s worth mentioning that this isn’t even Ashley’s first time trying to solve crimes. She’s written two books on herself trying to use psychic powers to solve mysterious passings of individuals
The irony that she is breaking every "rule" of tarot reading as well makes this lawsuit even more laughable. Anybody who does tarot reading knows it's not meant to be used for serious stuff as it ultimately all comes down to interpretation.

The best part about self proclaimed, "Psychics," is I've never seen a single psychic ever show any emotion or drop a tear for whoever they are talking about. They are all genuine sociopaths, and self centered and only ever shed a tear when something happens to them. Imagine not even showing any emotion over someone's deaths or random events you, "foresaw," but only shedding a tear when you get taken to court, but also made sure to keep her face perfectly in center, and show her pressed nails on the camera. Everything is just a performance to them.
Thank God she's just an online psychic. Imagine if she had this attitude of not admitting to mistakes while working a real job where people's lives were at stake? Imagine how dangerous she could be if working in air traffic control, or chemical waste disposal?
@@ChannelUmptyThreeYeah, at least we can be thankful for that. But she'll maybe pursue a career in politics because she has a lot in common with some of them.
I live in one of the neighboring communities to Moscow, Idaho and I do have good news in that locals aren't even really aware of this case and Prof. Scofield being accused of what Ashley claims. I think kids on campus are a little more aware of it but as far as I know, the Prof isn't receiving backlash from the local community. Everyone is much more focused on the guy in custody and really angry that there is no court date and still no justice for any of the victims. When the four students were murdered, I knew so many people who had some sort of connection to the students with how small the area we're in is. I never had any connection with them personally but it was a really horrible time and to think that it's been a year... it feels both far too short and yet not long enough for how long the grief has lasted.
She is sooo ignorant. How can she not know that a resident of one state can sue a resident of another state? Hell, people from one country sue people from another all the time.
So let me get this straight. She thinks that she's free to defame someone if she lives in a different state, she pulls the race card, then she gets annoyed that she has to fly to Idaho with her own money while living in a house like that and... is that LV bag in the background? This woman needs the roughest reality check possible.
I love the "She's suing me for defamation to stop the actual investigation!" Like, huh? "I was getting looked into for a crime, but all I had to do was sue someone for defamation and BAM, the cops had to drop the case!" Whta kinda saturday morning off brand superhero villain logic is this?
Man, what I would give to see all of this go down live in court 😂😂😂 Watching her struggle to appear sane and competent in front of the judge while throwing a bunch of Tarot cards around lmao 😂 That'd be priceless 😂
She is the perfect example for the saying, "They who represent themselves in court has a fool for their client."😂 Delusional narcissism would be an appropriate diagnosis for this "psychic" 🔮
I represent myself in court all the time. The only truth in that saying is that judges propitiate it. If you can get beyond that judge's notion that the saying is true, you'll do okay. I think one of the best things to ask a judge upfront is: "Do you believe in the saying that 'he who represents himself has a fool for a client.'?" That shows clear bias.
@@notmyname3883 Depends on your knowledge and familiarity with relevant law and court procedure and how well-prepared you are. (Or if it's an obvious case in a minor infraction, where the only thing you can do for a reduced sentence is appearing before the judge with a contrite face, saying: "Yes, I'm guilty, your honor. Yes, I regret it dearly. May the court please consider a reduced sentence? 🥺" So the saying still applies if you're over your head but still don't take an attorney.
A lawyer once told me anyone who represents themselves in court has a fool for a client, even lawyers know that is true. But I never really thought about narcissists being the main people who do represent themself, that's probably true asf

I didn't watch the video, but comon sense tells me she would call racism. She has been duping the people for years, and still expects too. And of course being a black person, who got caught in their scam, of course she will. RACISM. of course.

I feel terrible for all of the victims parents continue to be dragged through this. Especially Kaycees. I’d personally sue if I was her parents. Enough is enough.
Jack is actually Kaylee’s ex-boyfriend. He’s said in interviews that he stills holds her very dear to his heart. I can’t imagine being accused of conspiring to murder your ex-girlfriend who from all accounts, you still have good feelings towards 😢
there have been people who killed people they cared for so it can happen
I feel like once this woman loses, she's gonna go right back to tiktok and resume defamation and end up RIGHT back in court. She wont be able to let it go and will decry how "fraudulent" the court case is and go into defamation of the judge and the professor again about her "proof".
It will be the racisms
I can't help thinking about those "travelers" we see on the cops bodycam vids.
Whenever I hear ‘Subject Matter Jurisdiction’, I can’t help but think of Darrell Brooks! 😂

I often think maybe mental institutions served a valid purpose in some ways, the threat of being locked away for decades, possibly for the rest of your life if you insist on making a fool of yourself, probabaly dissuaded many from making a scene for no valid cause. Perhaps we need them back for 'Karens', people who make ludicrous claims that can't be backed up, self-proclaimed psychics that decide to slander innocent people for no reason but social media clout and anyone else that might not have a valid mental affliction but none the less insist on making life unpleasant for others or causing a scene.
I don't think they should. that would be tyranny of society

Sadly, the people that really believe in this stuff are incapable of looking at things objectively. Some people need to cling to their delusions because it makes them feel better about things they can’t make sense of.

It's funny she thinks that she's legally intitled to respect regarding her spirituality. She's not. She has the right to have those spiritual beliefs, but nobody is obligated to respect them, especially when she's using them to try to ruin an innocent woman's life.
Especially when she wants to prove it with Tarot cards. Shoot I bet you could even beat that with a Gate Guardian deck.
