thank you for explaining about the planets being intercepted in a house! I have Aquarius intercepted in my 3H and I thought my Neptune in 29degress Capricorn was also intercepted because it’s in my 3H, now I know it’s only my Uranus and Jupiter both in Aquarius in the 3H are the only planets intercepted in that house ☺️
THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! I have been looking for a GOOD collection of videos on this topic for a long time. You have covered this well here and in the other vids. Thank you soon much!
So I have a very interesting case... My 5th house is in Virgo's rulership. It is intercepted. It has Libra Mars, Part of Fortune in Libra, Scorpio interception of Mercury. So, it is about Virgo's rulership with Libra & even bit of Scorpio intercepted. Any view from you about this is actually appreciated. I spent time breaking down interceptions & duplications through reading my chart wheel (ohmygoodness; I agreed with you entirely & the entire explanation was as a confirmation of everything I had learnt while I was breaking it down 🤣😭💗). You're doing amazing teaching it! I saw the last video of this series & then continued onto the mini series, and immediately was like, isn't she from Party Tricks Astrology? She is 😂💜 Immediately subbed, happy you're continuing to create content & go in depth about ie interceptions & duplications, so forth of astrology. *Also, my 11th house is in Pisces rulership... It's "empty" of planetary space, but I always knew it impacted my social life somehow... Just from in person experiences. Until I learnt about interceptions recently, and it's immediately accurate & helpful to go in reading into. Pisces rulership, though Aries is intercepted, and there is (again) a bit of Taurus influence included there as well intercepted. Truly is interesting. And I feel it helps in understanding why my 11th house has complexities. 🤣😭 *I thought I had two sets of interceptions... After rechecking just now lol realized I thankfully only have that one set. Thank you for informing! 😂❤ *I have a good amount of Scorpio energy, though I have it intercepted. I have a planet & point of Libra, and yet have it intercepted (completely), I have midpoints of Aries, though it's not clearly visible with the chart, it's intercepted & may likely mean it was a suppressive/complicated influence to cope with in my life, possibly. I only have Taurus Saturn in Retrograde in the 12th house/Taurus ruling, that I know of, yet it is intercepted for my 11th (that sounds difficult 😭😂😅). *Though my 6th house is not intercepted, it still does hold an influence over my 5th/11th interception axis, at least in aspects.
If you have an interception you will have three signs in the house you have intercepted but that doesn’t mean that the third sign is intercepted! The only signs you have intercepted are the ones that don’t rule any houses and the only planets you have intercepted are the ones in those intercepted signs :) so you don’t have Scorpio intercepted in the 5th house and you don’t have Taurus intercepted in the 11th house, you only have Libra and Aries intercepted
Intercepted Taurus Scorpio in my 1&7 house! Gemini rules 0 degrees my 2-3rd house where sag rules my 8&9 house. The only thing I have is Chiron in Scorpio in my 7th house. Ik it’s not a planet but I feel like it’s significant
Pretty interesting concept, worth investigating. I have my Moon conjunct Jupiter both intercepted in Virgo 6H, no planets in Pisces. Additionally, my Ascendant in Aries is inconjunct both of them. I do have a tendency to identify my emotions by observing my own behavior. (intercepted moon?) It does seem hard to access them myself. I work on that actively. I believe I do get Virgo Jupiter opportunities but once again, kind of a blindspot and hard to appreciate. Pretty hard to tell what the effects of the interception would be exactly because I can’t really compare my virgo moon experience to anyone else’s.
While I do think every little detail of a chart matters, it seems kind of risky to rely very much on interpretations of precise house placement details like interceptions. Because if the birth time or birth longitude is even a little off (a few minutes or a town over) the houses could be in different places. Also there’s the problem of the Placideus house system breaking down the closer you get to the North/South poles. Which has led to the development of several different competing house systems. Who’s to say which calculation is the most accurate? Anyway just food for thought if one’s interceptions don’t feel altogether meaningful. Your personal experience of your life reigns supreme. Use astrology as a tool of investigation, and don’t expect it to be definitive.
I have a question. In my Solar Return, if my Capricorn and Cancer are intercepted (3rd and ninth House), and my second and 8th Houses begin in Scorpio and Taurus, do Scorpio and Taurus rule Sag/Cap and Gem/Cancer?
I also have libra intercepted in my 5th house. I also have my moon & neptune in libra. Could be this be why I have not had any romance in my 66 yrs of life? But my moon is in mutual reception with my cancer venus.
I think you guys wanted to be fair to one another with talk time. But you guys had a lot of info to talk about and couldn’t. Different perspectives. Glad I stumbled upon your channel.
Yayyy I have 2H Aqua & 8H Leo intercepted (no major planets, but I have some asteroids hanging out in those signs) and I find it a bit boggling to combine the interpretations of the intercepted signs with the interpretation of the intercepted houses. And I'm super curious about the signs that get doubled up & the houses that are "smaller" & fall entirely within one sign - like would I feel placements or transits in those smaller houses more acutely or consciously than for other houses? That's kinda the opposite of interceptions, lol, but they are always present if interceptions are present in a chart!
Those smaller houses with just one sign may just feel more “pure” and straightforward since there’s only one sign occupying it :) especially if there’s no planets, in my experience those are the houses that are easiest to figure out in myself
Sun moon mercury 3H stellium Capricorn. Capricorn/Cancer intercepted. Duplicated Aries/Libra. Unfortunately, Aries in Saturn 6H and libra in Mars 12H. 🙃 Nothing makes sense, everything is hard. 🥲
Oof! this is a bit difficult for me. So astro cafe, says in my housing chart, that i have double gemini (IV, V), and double sagittarius (XI, XII), and pisces is missing. However in my planet sign housing chart, my leo sun is 7th house and mercury in the 6th house, and my taurus saturn is in the 3rd house and my taurus jupiter is in the 2nd house...? I'm a lil confused as to whats intercepted?
You have a Virgo+Pisces Interception and they are intercepted in the houses that are ruled by Aquarius and Leo (and I take it that those are the first and seventh houses). Any planets that you have in Virgo and/or Pisces are intercepted - and if you don’t have anything in Virgo or Pisces then none of your planets are intercepted!
Thank you for the knowledge!! I have a doubt, to give an example let's say transiting jupiter is in Aries (your intercepted sign) does it still give you the blessings and expansion of jupiter transiting that house? wich would be the 10th in your case
I definitely feel intercepted transiting signs and I am not looking forward to this Mars in Aries retrograde we’ve got going on soon! And when Venus is intercepted in my chart my confidence just plummets and I feel ugly and fat lol. But at the same time a transiting intercepted planet does not mean a total absence of it’s benefits. I do still experience good energy and movement in my career during Aries season even though I have it intercepted!
How you call if I have, for example, Taurus in Venus but Taurus is in the 5th house and my Venus in the 6th? Why it's called Taurus in Venus if they are in two different houses? Sorry if this sound silly! Thanks
If you look at your chart in the wheel format you'll see that though one house may be ruled by one sign it still contains a fraction of the next sign in it, so your venus in Taurus is still in Taurus even if the house is ruled by another sign and Taurus rules another house :) to get the visual try pulling up your chart on astro.com or Astrotheme.com !
Thanks for explaining this so simply! I have a pisces(1st) and virgo(7th) interception.
Well explained but visuals with the chart would've helped too!
I have a stellium in Scorpio in the 6th house intercepted. My Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Pluto and north node are all intercepted.

Yep, you're right. Very understandable. 💯
3:06 "30% of people have interceptions, and 60% of people do not. And, also, I'm not so much with math, if you know me." lol
Lol 😬😂
tysm!! I don’t have interceptions but I’m curious to understand my friends charts who have it💛
I have 2 sets of interception (aries-libra & gemini-sagitarius)
i have the same interception and double as you. currently studying astrology.
