    Hill had the best drive in the NBA that ive ever seen, smooth, quick, gliding and change of pace that got layups and dunks. One of the best ive ever seen and among most underrated ever.

    My 13yr old self was at this game. The atmosphere was incredible. One of the best experiences of my life. I remember going down to the floor a couple hours before tip-off and watching the Lakers do their shoot-around. I yelled at Kobe and he gave me a little head nod.

      My college self were at this era as well. A healthy prime grant could 3 peat post mj era fs with two other legit allstars as teammates. Sadly his feet gave out too soon. Dude had better handles, crossovers and explosions than lebalco and better jumping accuracy and freethrows as well

    He flamed the Lakers! Dimes on dimes! He dogged Shaq wit hella dimes. Floaters where crazy! Had the Lakers crowd on his side. Destroyed Kobe. Destroyed Robert Horry. Nick Van Exel had NOTHIN! Eddie Jones had NOTHIN! Lays for days! I remember watching this game back when I was a kid. I wanted Grant Hills shoes after this game.

    Love hearing Chick Hearn on this. If you didn't know he was the PbP guy for the Lakers you'd never know it by listening to his call of this game. It's extremely fair and he seems to fan out on Hill's game.

    I can't believe I found this game. TH-cam is absolutely amazing. I watched this game when I was 14 and never forgot it. Lifelong Pistons fan and Grant Hill was my favorite player then. That was my guy. This was such a fun time watching the Pistons.

    Grant Hill was the quicker and more athletic version of Scottie Pippen in offense. Granted Pippen had a bit better 3 pointer and was a bit better defender but the similarities are there.

      Wrong! Hill was NOT more athletic than Pippen. Hill had a better handle and a better midrange game than Pip. Also he was a better finisher.

    During this time, I'd say hill and penny were the two most popular and peak players in the league besides jordan. People were starting to get tired of mj and g hill brought that freshness with his smooth effortless style and triple double threat every night. I remember getting up for this game because of g hill and he didn't disappoint. Even rocked his filas that year.

    This dude had handles and slashing to the bucket like a Curry, Jordan/Kobe type footwork (fadeaways/hesitation [headfakes] one dribble pull up), and court vision/basketball IQ compared to a Lebron or Magic. All of those combined with efficiency.. he could have been one hell of a great.

      Definitely, you can make the case that since T-Mac got in, then G.Hill should get in too. Personally, I think that if both had remained healthy for their whole careers, Hill would have had the best career between the two.
