    Thank you for making these videos! I'm currently in my last year of school before I become a automatician, and these videos helps me learn TIA portal more than my teachers do. Keep them coming!

      Hi Leif, you are very welcome! I am happy that my videos are of help! (you can share them with your study mates if you want to^^)
      Most teachers see the topic of automation as very dry and with A LOT of theory... I like the applications of it more... if you just use the stuff, the theory will be understood on it's own

    Very good introduction to Virtual-plc-automation instead of Real-plc-automation. I had been using Virtual-electronics (100% software simulation) and Real-electronics (100% physical components/devices) .Similar to Virtual-mechanical-engineering and Real-mechanical-engineering. Virtual-Human-life or Real-Human-life are our future !

    I have one question.. in the HMI tags, on the left i have the HMI tags and on the right the PLC tags. The PLC tags should be always in a DB, while the HMI tags linked to the actual physical I/O?

    • @hegamurl7434
      @hegamurl7434  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks!
      The column HMI tag is the name of a tag on the HMI itself.
      The column PLC tag is how the tag is linked to a PLC (could be in a DB or also in global memory like "I0.3" or "MB15").
      HMI tags could also be flagged as "internal"... those won't have a link to a PLC and have the "PLC tag" column empty
