The diversity in this field is the beat I've seen on a spectator race video. From DSM and other tuners to muscle cars.. Even a3800 series grand prix and fiero. Even some sleeper wagons, rivers, luxury cars and even an I8 super car nice field

Man there were some bad drivers in good cars out there! That C63 should have wiped most of the cars it was up against if it had decent tires and a decent driver. Shame they made the Eclipse driver leave due to the rear tire rub when half the GM's were pouring oil out the tailpipe. The i8 should have done a touch better- I agree with the driver mod comment from someone else here. Glad to see the fastest car win over the boring domestic cars that seem to dominate the entry list. That F100... man the suspension geometry in that thing has got to be horrible- it makes sense why it spins the second he loses control, the roll center is like 8 feet underground lol.
Run-of-the-mill Camcorder's have tiny image sensors and pale in comparison to DLSR/mirrorless cameras that shoot 60fps, hence the reason why you no longer see people with camcorders. To get DLSR quality from a camcorder, the body alone will cost about a grand. A cine lens comes a dime a dozen. Just a tip. Great footage as always!
Yeahh I know a camcorder with clear quality will be around a grand, this was just a test to see how it worked...smooth and close up footage was definitely a plus !
Damn that 100NX driver is the real deal, I love how the R32 got left behind after thinking a win is in the pocket. I literally seen only 6 of those Nissans in the 36 years I'm alive.
@@josephmoreton6395 I was wondering, did the radars and "lane departure" throw you off when you were a little close to the other racers? We don't often see hightech cars like this on the track and I was curious if the safety features came into play. I think the ballsiest thing was bringing it in the first place and racing cars that cost as much as one headlight. Lol Thanks for bringing the i8 out.
@@SCHMALLZZZ it did yesterday on my second race, I did the second race in full electric mode, that was a mistake. Never again will I do that, the launch sucks in electric mode. And when I hammer the gas, and turn the assist bullshit comes on.. I just researched how to shut it off, gotta hold the traction control for a few seconds and it will permanently shut it off for good.
The father & son race ! Twice I drove a 1970 Buick Electra Blue first time I finished eighth the second time I finished third the time I drove a 1978 Chevy nova six cylinder I finished somewhere in the 20s I drove a 1969 Buick skylark I won one race , I drove a 1970 Pontiac formula with a Chevy 350 bad tires !
Shame about Kline not really getting to compete, at one point he was so dominant he had a bounty that he placed on himself. The last time I saw Al in the Corvette he won his round then wrecked celebrating the win, lol. I'm surprised he hasn't shown up in the Camaro in a while. Also, does Vincent no longer compete in these? His Mitsubishi would win just about everything.
Kenny will definitely be back at some point haha Al actually lost that race before he hit the wall, great to see him back out with the vette though ! And he wrecked the green camaro that same year, and is in the process of rebuilding it so I’ve heard. Also Mike Vincent would need 300 treadwear tires to race Seekonk due to the new rule change for AWD cars..check my recent videos his car at Hudson if you haven’t he got in a race before it broke. He’ll be racing at freedom factory aug 14th

I guess he brought the vette because he wrecked the Camaro, rough year for him if he wrecked both. I didn't know the rules about needing those tires to race at Seekonk. I've personally never competed in this, but I don't think my 2013 Dodge Dart with 160 hp will win lol. I hope Vincent gets back into it, I never knew about that rule change, but I guess that explains why Kline doesn't race the Evo here anymore. Last I saw him was with the blue Talon and it looks like he's driving a different car this time. I'll check out that video of yours. EDIT: Ouch that broken axle was painful, he probably would have won it all.

@@GNRDSM I slipped it easy. Didn’t want to go all out on a car I knew I could drive around. And the log showed clutch switch stayed active so I I must have had my foot on the clutch triggering launch control still. Gotta adjust it.working out the bugs.

It's a Dodge Stealth Twin Turbo. It's slightly confusing because it has a Mitsubishi 3000GT Front Bumper. (They're the same car with different body panels)
I'm a little crazy..lol watch the Vega turn into me on the final... scared me a little, otherwise I would have had it.. didn't feel like getting my i8 cracked up..lol I own a rental car company... I'd be returning a lot of deposits..lol

I was surprised to see his nose come out of nowhere on the inside. i was expecting him to pass me on the outside at breakneck speed lol. my tires are turned to the left because my car is pushing up the track, as soon as my front end grabbed i tried to give him some room. i like a close race but definitely not out there to play bumper cars lol. i may have been more afraid than him lol.. the last thing anyone out there wants to do is damage someone else car. there is a lot of man hours going around that track... that being said i hope he keeps bringing the bmw, its exciting for everyone to have a car like that out on the track.

30 year old twin turbo mitsubishi with awd, 4 wheel steering, and active suspension but either way, dude can drive, cars were very well matched though
