I was so excited about moving into my Mr. Darcy Violet A6 and thought I would share my setup with ya. It's not much different from last time, but I go into how I use my Growing Up Goddess insert. One of my FAVORITE inserts.

Oh my stars! I hear ya on the Fall, Summer, Fall weather! I'm in the Napa Valley in CA and it's been just the same! Cool and rainy 70 degrees, the next sunny and 88. huh?!?! I LOVE your vids Ladyface! You always make me smile. :)

I love the A6 Mr. Darcy Violet. For planning and bullet journals it just seems like the right size. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing next year. Thank you for sharing, I love your videos. They are just so fun🤗🌸💗!

Making folder pockets is super easy. Should be a breeze for you as crafty as you are :o)
Love the color covers ... don't need anymore in the browns (ha ha), but haven't been able to squirrel away enough to get one yet. My favorite is the aubergine, although I've not seen one in person.

I like squishy journal covers.. listen, u have totally made me the happiest chickie ever!! U inspire me & make me happy!! I made my A5 chic sparrow into a homemade art journal similar to yours w-inserts like yours w-h2o paper, tracing paper etc.! My chic sparrow journals r popping.. love u😘🐾💕
It's not bad but there is much controversy around it. You have to be very careful around the stitching and also around your imprinting. I ALWAYS roll my Darcys haha!!!
Oh my gosh thank you so much for doing a picture in picture comparison of the burgandy next to the violet!!! I'm so torn between buying a burgandy or waiting on a deeper red/ burgandy color tn!
I'm about to sell my burgundy and I keep my lighting in my video pretty light. It's pretty deep color...almost looks brown. Maybe you can linger around the Buy/Sell page on Facebook and can check it out. :)

Thank you so much! I am using my journal, planner and then my smaller pocket for my boys' journaling and then another narrow for church notes. I think I'm going to combine the church notes and the journal though. :) OH! And I use my A5 for my art! haha!
I have an A6, coming in 2 weeks from Cristins leather and one from CS in my cart. I'm going to try this size for 2017. I'm loving daily's. Month, tracker/goals, week(then that weeks daily's) then repeat. My ideal situation. Working on color coding my family/life! Hope you are doing well!

Ali Brown I wish you could share your planner with us more! Have you don't planner supply favs? Because if you haven't I want to know what you use/love abs where I buy it 😍!
DIYfish does have daily pages similar to those daily pages. But like you said if you don't plan a day. You end up wasting paper. I bought her 2 days on 2 pages to try something similar to this. I'm trying to get out of a planner funk too.

Check out DIYFish ClassicB v3s1 with DS daily page 5. It is the DIYFish equivalent of what you are using here if you want dates inserts. I would print my October inserts in September, so I was always a month ahead.
Thank you for the suggestion but I think I prefer to have them undated as I don't use the dailies every day. I will keep that in mind if I change my mind in the future. Thank you so much for watching!!! xoxo

I'm curious how the A6 measures up to the Midori personal and what's the difference? I'm currently using a pocket because I like the fact that I can find inserts for them at the local stationary store.

I enjoy your videos! Do you still use your Canon pixma printer for journaling or have you come across something better? lol I've heard good things about them and looking to get one for my art journaling. I live in New England. It is Fall here. The trees have changed color and are gorgeous. It's my favorite time of year! I would be lost without my seasons! lol

Oh my gosh, I LOVE your videos!! I just found your channel and have been having to tear myself away once in a while to get some work/sleep/eat done!!! LOL I have been planning for about a year, started with a Happy Planner, then went to printing my own inserts for a personal size ring bound. But I have caught the TN bug recently but am so OVERWHELMED about all the options!! I just made myself two inserts, the standard size, but now after watching this video I think I like this size better. I am on a very tight budget so I can't afford to buy multiple sizes, as much as I'd love to!! Do you print your own inserts or do you purchase them? Can you tell me where is best to purchase? I want to ask for a "cover" (is that what the holder part is called??) for Christmas but don't know what kind or what size, why are there so many glorious options?!?!?! I've also recently started journaling as well, the two inserts I made are for scripture writing and a bible reading monthly challenge. I seriously am OBSESSED right now and need an intervention before I spend all our grocery money on traveler's notebooks!! ;-) Sorry to write so much....but I am a new FAN of yours, you are so beautiful and sweet and I see the light of Christ shining through your eyes and your words!! I think I share in the video which are printables and which I bought from an etsy shop. I have a link in the description of the etsy shop I purchased my month on two-page. The other printable shop I enjoy are DIYfish on etsy. If you google her she'll come up easily. The thing that you would ask for is the notebook. Inside are the inserts. You can also check out the buy/sell page online for used Chic Sparrows. I'm selling my burgundy there next week. I'm really torn as to what size to get. I made my own standard size inserts, and they are working out ok, using them without a notebook for now, but I see you using different sizes and I think I might like that better. My problem is actually that I like them ALL but can't AFFORD them all!! ;-) I know I don't want the tiny one, but am torn between the A6 (I think that's the one) and the standard. Any advice about that choice? And can I please ask where to find the group you were talking about for buying used notebooks? Thanks again for replying! Have a blessed day!
Hey Ali! Random Question. Have you heard of Kurtake Gansai Tambi watercolors?? Blitsy has them and they look pretty good....Made in Japan by hand. Thoughts??
I have and my mother bought those while I was with her in Florida. They are nice but I believe they are dye based? I'm not sure about that though. I have read that there is no sedimentation with them so they are inks that behave like paint. I didn't mind them too much when I played with them. But I don't think I would ever purchased them for myself. I just love my Daniel Smiths TOOOOO much! haha! Thanks so much for watchin'! :)
What is the type of pen you use? You mentioned it quickly - but didn't catch the style.

Is this the same as the Mr. Darcy Carie Harling violet that's available now?
I think I have read that the Darcy Violet is a little brighter now. I'm not sure. I sold this notebook not too long ago so I can't compare.

They used to be SOOO hard for me to print out. But now I have a Canon Pixma printer that prints both sides so it's way easy. :)
