- There's only ever been a couple of uploads with very fuzzy visuals of this skit, so I thought I'd rectify the situation from my old VHS copy. It's not HD, and the sound ain't too great either, but it's certainly an improvement. I've also included the cast coming on afterward to take their bow.
As Graham Norton says in the clip, "You all look so young". And that was twenty years ago! - ตลก
The absolute CREAM of British comedy in 2003, performing a sketch that's closer to cosplay than parody, and knocking it out of the PARK - played out in front of a Comic Relief audience that don't give a toss and kill the atmosphere. This should be held up as one of the great bits of early 00s UK comedy - Comic Relief is a comedy vaccum isn't it?
💯 ❤ it
Absolutely nailed Terry Wogan.
I could watch Peter doing Terry Wogan all day. Ooer.
I'm completely stoned
@@christschinwon Me love a bit of the heavy dub.
TV Audiences weren&t ready for that !
Supreme work all round.
I haven't seen this in years and forgot how much I love it. It's also reminded me to go and watch the Amish Sex Pistols sketch again.
100 golf balls
Was there some of it missing as two of the actors at the end, I can't recall being in it?
Nothing is missing. David Walliams wasn't around for the curtain call.
No, but there were two actors who at the end who weren't on the panel.@@Putner
That would have been Stirling Gallacher who played the contestant & CND protestor and me, Paul Putner who was the chauffeur prize. That's show business, eh? @@gaskellr44
And not forgetting Kevin Elden, and I know the said lady from The Office. Yes, I do recognise you from other comedy things. Yes, show business. Up and down like a fairground ride I suppose. Some undeservedly get on better rides than others.@@Putner
@@Putner Nick Frost also couldn't be arsed
Clever ... but somehow a bit creepy 20 years on.
Twenty years old and I have only just seen it.
Eczemalent 😅
So much crap is excused in the name of charity and this is a prime example
NO WAY WOULD THEY SHOW THAT NOW ON THE BEEB
In what respect would the BBC not show this sketch now? (other than you’d never get that cast together again)
@@Putnerwell one, the bbc don’t do funny anymore, and two, the shooting at the end would definitely not be allowed for obvious reasons.
