Yes, I checked out Linda, as well. Her absence was felt, as was David's. Anybody recall, "America, Where Did You Go?" These folks were AT LEAST on a par with JA, The Dead, Quicksilver, Big Brother, and a great many other Frisco groups that fueled our rocket burn. And didn't we see the best lights of our generation?? :-)
I don't know if it's the last one, I saw a similar situation w/Dave, Hal, Mitch, Val, I don't know the Keys Guy, & Linda² doing Patti Santos' parts . All the while, Linda LaFlamme was up in Seattle & gave an interview saying 'We made great music together & I'd be glad to keep doing that same caliber of sound as a Professional Musician. I think she was very mature & suffered the nature of David LaFlamme>Divorce>Post-Divorce... The Show I saw was a Chet Helms/Avalon Concert Split bill w/It's A Beautiful Day & Gary Duncan's version of Quicksilver closed the night. I'd mentioned to Hal & I think it was Mitch or Val that they should release the B'cast of a July 1 Show that started w/a blazing 'Creed Of Love' & a good 75-85(±) minutes of the epitome of the Hippie Jam Band on full Psychedelia at The Closing of the venue's Shows. That show made it to Japan by either direction (across the Pacific Ocean or the Continent & Atlantic>Europe,et al but I happened to get it in DC/MD; IE- AROUND THE WORLD. It's out & fantastic quality. That's what a great Band can do.

When they talk about a song they wrote in 1973 you know this concert was not 1998. Great concert from the Filmore bur I wish I know what year. Plus look at them - not 1998 but still have it together.

Is this the LaFlammes or is the Tanglewood couple the LaFlammes? She looks similar in both just a different hair color but he looks entirely different. I lost my vinyl in 1974 and have not seen a playable copy since. Since I was 14 or 15 yrs old when I bought White Bird, I never really knew. Now I would like to figure it out. Since David played a unusual 5 string violin.
My played this on repeat my whole childhood. She passed from cancer 3 years ago. We found ours on EBay. It’s not in good shape. But it just brings back so many memories and I love it.
Wonderful concert. Can someone tell me what the "keyboard" player is playing, because it's not a keyboard...He's using mallets (4 no less), like a vibraphone. Sounds like it's an expertly played hammer dulcimer.
