Kinda gets under a persons skin to see all the waste we do in America. That plastic has to be a part of the fill and it’s only gonna get worse! I’m glad DP mentioned your channel as you do some interesting videos👍
I agree. I thought we were a very wasteful society, then I started watching one Aussie channel that records garbage collection in Australia. Crikey, they are worse than us! So many reusable, salvageable items that could be repurposed, just sent to land fills. It is quite upsetting.
Another great video, Mr. dig and I heard you mention Augusta I’m taking that Augusta, Georgia is your landfill in Graniteville, and if it is my grandson Carson Lee used to work for you running the big grinder but anyway man you got some good content and I really like the way you treat your men
Came from dp channel, your family business is incredibly well thought out, a resource for every kind of profit margin available, amazing work, thanks for sharing an I wish I found your channel sooner
I would be like you. I would be keeping all that useful stuff in case I might need it in the future. I still have old job site stuff from 20 years ago that I won't get rid of in case i might need it one day.
Ryan i have been following your channel since Dirt Perfect took us to see your operation, WOW your business is mind blowing, hats off to you but your channel got some momentum, enjoying all the past video's Loving it keepem coming 👍🇨🇦👌
I’m same as you Ryan hate to see so much that could be repurposed buried and your definitely right until your government steps up it will remain the same I know I’m in a different country but where I live we have to segregate out waste at our landfill otherwise we pay top dollar to dump 👍👍 ramp looks awesome the people you work with do a amazing job 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
it is nice watching something differect . it is not a person setting on a dozer or exv. all day and not talking and it is edited right, an not like some i have seen . dp and ld18 both do a good gob.
You do a great job keep it up…very nice equipment. When loading the coffee you should have a large clean up bucket on with the pin grabber works great and much faster loading
Awesome video man. Killer ramp. As a scrapper it absolutely kills me to see the amount of metal and other reusable materials/items that get crushed, buried or burned. I do it part time but if i wanted to I could be out 24/7/365 picking metal from roll offs, dumpsters, and the curb and still not make a dent. Even as a one man band I've recycled over 100 tons of material just this year. At least in your landfill, things look somewhat accessible in the future when it becomes cost effective to mine it for all the material lol. I applaud your effort though, a lot of dumps don't care. I like how you use the leftover cement to make blocks, that's awesome. Do you use brush loads for mulch too?
Yes all the brush goes for compost/mulch. I tell my Son that he’ll be digging it all back up one day to sell all that we buried. Thanks for watching & commenting!
I work at a landfill and swear it’s sooooo busy over ten trucks coming at a time it’s insane lined up all day I work 11 hours in a Tana compactor an we have a cat one
Im no different then you about how much waste just buried, its crazy what people just throw away, my dad had that problem and so do I, but I'm working on it.
I've seen most everything out there. And a one particular rumor idk wasn't there. But you do see things out there when you said. The south east that o really under stood being from GA
I'm new hear and I love watching your videos from Algeria 🇩🇿...just a question what about the leachate producing from the landfill oprations. Do you have a system of treatment??
Call the new road skyline boulevard! That would be so funny, so keep the sign please? That would be very cool. IT would be so much better if there was more recycling facilties and maybe you can buy a dedicated and very very strong magnet fitted to a cheap excavator that can pull out metal very fast. I think you could profit alot from that. Maybe you can use that as a argument for a new expansion? I would like to live there, since I would just run off with all the metal and go and build stuff. I really understand the feeling that you can't focus on stuff before you want to collect everything. Anyway greeting from the Netherlands.
Usually thats what we do. We build or pad for our line trucks and tipper to where we have it for the longest time before a move so we can save on sand rock and stone. Love your channel! If we ever move to Carolinas id totally want to work for ya... best boss ever I think! @@TheRealMrDiGG
This is my first time watching your channel after DP said it was a good channel so had to see for myself. All it takes to become successful here on YT is people finding you, and you having good content to watch. Over time I'll go back and watch some of your pre existing stuff and check out all your new from this day forward.
Found a fully inflated jumbo beach ball at the local landfill. I don’t know how it made it all the way to the landfill in one piece. It didn’t survive for very long! 😂
@@TheRealMrDiGG We didn’t know if it made the ride in the back of a truck or if someone just tossed it out while at the landfill. But, it didn’t survive my buddy Don’s bulldozer. :)
I would be picking through all that trash. Nothing wrong with a little hoarding. :). Seems like a new.buisness to add to your resume. RYAN'S TREASURES LLC. :)
I don't get why only a handful of U.S. states recycle cans and plastic bottles. Most Southern states I've visited everything goes in the trash can. But we expect the world to listen to use preach on recycling.
I came over from letsdig18. Haven’t been able to watch anything else since. Love me some landfills!
Thanks for coming over to check out my channel. I sure appreciate you watching!

Surprised you don't have a trash compacter. I worked in a landfill in 70s its amazing what is thrown away.
We have several 826C’s. They were just not running during this video

some of the better items, ya can sell back to the public. a little area up by the scales. hmmm, just an idea. there is one around here that does that.
I’ve wanted to do that for a long time. I think it’s a great idea!!
I like the lift and the road…. Are you gonna stone it or is it temporary till you get the pad built?
We may have to put some crushed concrete on it since we had all this rain, but in the grand scheme its just temporary

About 70 years (without recycling) so the more I can recycle the longer the life.
