@@TheRealMrDiGG I apologise for my constant comments but I'm a new subscriber and and I'm aware that "interaction" makes TH-cam algorithms happy Loving your videos bro 👍
So with the rolls of fiberglass. If compaction is the neame of the game, could you unroll it at the bottom of the cell, basically making a makeshift liner? Or is that something thats not feasible?
I just found your channel yesterday and I've been loving your videos! I do some dump trailer junk removal on the side, so I am somewhat familiar with smaller dump sites.
It could be sold, but whoever buys it would have to maintain the property for 30 years by law. You can’t do trees, because nothing with the taproot can be planted on the old landfill. My plan is to build Greenhouses on top and solar panels on the side slopes.
Man, i could walk around that new cell and pick, poke and look at the different layers for a week Its always some cool stuff to see and occasionally run across something worth keeping because its odd or plain weird especially if rocks are involved. How long, wide and deep is that cell?
Love the vid MR. DIGG!! We got a big asbestos job coming tomorrow. Especially with friable buried 4ft deep asap. Non fry same but not as urgent, usually we cut the trash out and bury it when we can. Are you guys going to accept MSW by chance? Keep the great vids coming!! love watching
You run a great operation. Down to earth, you follow rules and laws to the TEE. I respect all of that man. At least youre not a hack selling landfill space and allowing everything and then growing shit on top when it is done. lol.
All sign of gold also i did some work and looking into that purple sand at the sand plant that is iron clay there is huge gold in ur areas you should run the dirt through a wash plant you dont line ur pits
That river/smooth rock is where your gold will be....Pay Dirt baby...lol Another awesome video Buddy, thanks from S.Illinois, 4.5 hours south of Shitcago
That white sand looks like the white sand we use at our golf course for bunkers. Super expensive stuff. Too bad you can’t dig any lower and sell that to golf courses
Hope your operators get a full face mask/half mask, even when rain, same for you wouldent walk there without a mask, dont need alot of asbestos to fuck up the lungs, but guess okay if its far in the future , all the machines also contaminated, and need special attention on maintenence and repair
What about the maintenance standpoint when you blow out the air filter or replace it? Does the guy wear a mask? When changing the air filter, since the air filter is sucking in all the asbestos particles
@TheRealMrDigg I have semi side tippers, and when we do asbestos, the loaders have air filters on the cab of the excavators and can't open windows. All trucks trailers are lined with plastic by workers in hazmate suits. Then trucks get washed down on exit
You really need a D-8 !!!! Just saying----your operation is growing by leaps and bounds----and gets harder and harder to keep up----mabye in the near future ----I'm a CAT man and all the others are just wanabees !!! You're doing a good job of managing the landfill and I wish you the best of luck in the future. FYI---live in South Carolina and love it!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for taking the time to explain this kind of business.
Any time!
Hi from sample and son again. Man what a cell!! We just started dumping in our new cell last week

What happens when a landfill "closes" does the land get sold? Or does it get turned Into a tree farm or something? Iv always wondered this
It could be sold, but whoever buys it would have to maintain the property for 30 years by law. You can’t do trees, because nothing with the taproot can be planted on the old landfill. My plan is to build Greenhouses on top and solar panels on the side slopes.
Very interesting never even thought about what it would be like to own a landfill
Always something interesting for sure!
I dont think is a reg landfill.....

The different layers are very interesting. That hole is probably 800 x 300 x 50.
thanks for all the explanations 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much for watching Richard!
Great video keep them love the 826c and your landfill
Thanks! Will do!
With no liner is that demo only landfill?
That’s correct. C&D Construction and Demolition
Thanks for the response didn't mean to interrupt your morning. Starting the day and stopping the day to hardest parts @TheRealMrDigg
By far my favorite channel on TH-cam you passed DP that should say something
Wow! I sure appreciate you saying this, and watching my channel!
Great video. Excellent explanation of everything involved in recycling. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching!
Nice getting the asbestos closer to the Water table for us to enjoy
I’ll dig deeper next time
at least hes out there cleaning it up
Not water soluble.
Is this the same landfill you see off of I-20?
Yes it is

?, how high can you go with the piles, or is your ramp angles the limiting factor. Thanks for posting, you guys stay safe.
Sides slopes definitely limit the field, but we can go about 100 foot higher
@@TheRealMrDiGG thanks
How many acres do you have there
200. About 80 acres under operation.
Excellent and interesting

That purple sand is intriguing. I've never thought about the gold being in it
Yea my dad used to haul it from Connecticut with a frameless n hated doing the plastic
its time consuming, but you gotta do it. Thanks for watching & taking the time to comment!!!
How many fossils have you found in the pits?
Surprisingly, none yet but I’m always looking. 👀

Amazing that you haven't hit groundwater much sooner!
It’s over 100’ down
Hands down my favorite landfill. I won't be here in 50 I only need yall to stay open around 10 more years. After that I'll come out direct traffic
You got the job Buddy! Appreciate you man
Enjoyed it like I always
Thanks buddy!
All those layers...hmm...it's as if there was a great flood. I know I've read that somewhere.

Trying to get some courses to buy soon
That band of rock is very interesting.
Pretty cool huh?

All the C&D landfill’s in the Midwest have to have a 2 foot clay liner to the best of my knowledge
Do you own a haz waste dump?
No sir
What about the maintenance standpoint when you blow out the air filter or replace it? Does the guy wear a mask? When changing the air filter, since the air filter is sucking in all the asbestos particles
Yes must wear mask
in the future someone is going to mine it...
I hope so!
Theres gold in that red dirt
Incinerator build 😉
That would be cool
@@TheRealMrDiGG lots of money to make from it. I think they are great ideas.

In Australia if caught near asbestos on sites with no face masks is a big no no
Interesting

Thankyou asbestos eats radiation from volcanoes and Iceland needs all the help they can get
👍👍
I cooled alot of lava today at Iceland using asbestos at landfills world wide.
