The ease with which Kumari. Pavani Cotah started the concert accompanied by
Violin, Harmonium and Mridhangam ( the three Artists whose name was not
made known) was commendable for her young age, it was anachievement
beyond compare except perhaps two other very prominent artists Kumari.
Spoorthi Rao and Kumari, Sivasri Skanda Prasad, and each of them have their
own individual outputs of which they can be really proud and happy. The performance
was simply very good with wonderful control of Voice and well modulated for both
the high pitched and low toned ones at the depth level, spread with the lilting of
portions in the songs belted out by her. She is an artist who would delight the
rasikas as she progresses in her career. No language chosen was a tough one
for her to the diction involved in each and that was the confidence of her in having
been able to deliver the concert effortlessly right through. The contribution by both
Violinist and the Mridhangam operator were very apt and suited.
Namaste Sir. I have tears of joy and gratitude as I read these valuable blessings and words of support for my daughter. The violinist is Kishore and harmonium is Sri Shankarraman
