Sweet Lord!! Mr., you kept that bike like in a time capsule!! It’s in superb conditions! And without hesitation, I can say that is ONE of the most impressive, beautiful and clean top shape conditions Suzuki RGV250’s out there!! As a motor enthusiast,I have to say: Thank you for being a good biker, and for loving that machine! Impressive! 🍺😃
You’re my idol Harvey 🌟 I have this very bike, not as mint as yours but count myself very fortunate to have one. VJ23 electric start and dry clutch - she’s a ripper! Also own a Honda NSR50 so looks like we are both drawn to the good old stuff! Love your man cave shed too, that’s a dream 🙏. Good luck with the sale and someone is going to be very happy. From a fellow enthusiast here in New Zealand 👋
I've owned many bikes over my life but my overall favourite for all around fun for both twisty roads and racetrack was one of these. Yours is in beautiful condition. Thanks for sharing 👍
KPH clock so about 7000miles. I bought one new from Best of Bikes in Newbury in 1997, they were a grey import as they were for JDM only. 70’degree engine is totally different from earlier models and a dry clutch; which rattles and can be a bit annoying. Super lightweight as stated and is quick through the gears to 70mph but soon runs out of puff due to restrictions. De-restricting isn’t easy and involves changing electronics, possible but expensive back then; perhaps more affordable today. I only owned it for about 6 months before trading it in for another bike. Years later I realised what I’d had and what I’d done selling it, massive regret. Unique bikes that were built with the very best technology of the day as the 2-stroke era was coming to an end. Good luck with your sale.
I had similar experience with a TZR V-twin back in my biking days. Traded in after a week for an NC30. Only options at the time to get round restrictions was going for TZ parts and not practical 🙁
Remember drooling over these at the local bike shop when they first came out , lovely little bikes , won’t be around for long I’m sure. Fair play Harvey . 🫡
Simply stunning example of a VJ23, had a VJ22 years ago that I never should have sold.

How cool is Harvey! Great bike too!
Wow that is superb. I only rode one once as a test ride when I was upgrading from a TZR125 and still remember when the power band kicked in :D

Oh boy, that bike really can give you receding hairline. Better give it away soonest to me at giveaway price.😊
I like this Harvey chap. The two stroke is also likeable too.
Cool bike, brings back memories
God love you, Harvey, Sir!
Had the NSR 250 R . Awesome bikes
I actually had one when they first come out they go like a rocket believe me, acceleration some thing else

Had one years ago. Nothing could keep up in the twistys.
Hardly run in yet..... More likely to need an engine rebuild soon, given 11k miles and nature of engine. They were not exactly bullet-proof......
Love it Love it Love it!!!!! Cool guy ..😊
