Finding a nice one that hasn't been butchered and rawhided. I might have to settle for another Guzzi. Enjoyed the video Windy and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!

IT RESULTS IN VERY SMOOTH CRUISING AT ABOUT 75 WHICH WORKS ON MY LOCAL ROAD RT 80 THAT I HAVE TO RIDE 30 EACH WAY TO GET TO MY RIDING AREA.

CONVERSION TO 530 CHAIN WORKS GREAT.REAR IS 40 FRONT 16 OVERDRIVE BECAUSE I HAVE TO RIDE 30 HIGHWAY MILES EACH WAY TO GET TO MY RIDING AREA. KILLS SOME HIGHWAY BUZZ AS A BONUS AND MAYBE SAVES A BIT OF WEAR ON MY 80000 MILE ENGINE.

I think the stock chain is 630, so that's 16% overdrive which is pretty big (169mph theoretical top speed vs. 142)

Windy, Did you change the rear sprocket on your GS1100e from the 42 tooth to a smaller one? I have an 83 GS1100e that the previous owner installed an after market chrome sprocket that looks awful. I like the look on yours. Is it stock? If not why did you go with other? Dave
