I cried when I saw all of the survivors dancing. It was late stage 4 when my 39 year old sister was diagnosed. They told her she may only live 6 months. She fought boldly for 3.5 years but now she is dancing in heaven. Dance on!
This video shows that by combining aspects as simple as pink gloves and dancing, a movement of hope larger than anyone involved in it's production can begin. I can't stop smiling. This video gives all of us who believe in the strength of human connection the confidence to keep dancing.
Tears from me too -- my sister Bernice, whom I lost to breast cancer, would have just loved it. But I am also happy and proud that my friend Louise, fellow singer in Chicago-based Sing to Live Community Chorus was part of this video. I continue to celebrate Bernice's life and share in the lives of my fellow singers as we support each other in the triumph over this disease.
So much fun dancing with everyone - very excited it's out after all the wait :) Many Thanks to all the workers and camera people and dance teacher who took the time to get us all ready it was a blast and forever memorable - hope to do it again for the next one :)
These video bring me to tears ... My aunt is a breast cancer survivor and it´s great to know that a lot of people just came together for an important cause ... Remember, you won´t dance alone ...
The videos are touching, my grandmother had it and eventually died from it but every year I do think about her when the Pink Ribbons appear and try to do at least one thing. I know that the drs and nurses had fun doing this and hopefully it gets shown in the hospitals so that people can enjoy seeing them in a fun atmosphere. It shows they are people just like you and me.
I'm currently going through breast cancer treatment and it's things like this video that make me smile and know that everyday people are fighting to find a cure! I definitely know I'm not dancing alone! :o)
Just caught this on Fox & Friends. A brilliant cheerful, hopeful video - but what really impressed me was who underwrote it. Medline clearly has merged their public relations and marketing departments as well or better than any company anywhere in the free world. One has to assume your entire firm operates in an upbeat positive fashion, resulting I imagine in a well-oiled corporate machine that runs on all eight cylinders all the time.
Love it!.....I'd like to teach the world to sing....AND DANCE! God bless all of you who created the original and this sequel.....amazing that a 4 minute video can create such smiles for so many :)
This video brought tears to my eyes. My grandma died of breast cancer when I was very little, and I never got the chance to know her. I'm glad these videos are bringing awareness to the disease, with style and flair!
Hats off to all those that help those fighting breast cancer and their families. It must truly be a job of love and passion. It must be so difficult. I'm glad they had a good time and were able to make people all over smile while helping to fight this horrible disease. I'm just so sorry that there are soooo many health care workers out there dancing for a cause.
i made a post here, 11 years ago that this video made me cry. It did. I was diagnosed with early non-invasive breast cancer..but I was terrified. This song and video got me through so many bad moments of anxiety and terror. Tomorrow I will bury my sister, who was diagnosed 3 years ago and died on 10/11/22 from breast cancer. She danced with me from the moment of my diagnosis and I did with her. The medical teams teams that supported us from start on, were amazing. I wish I could thank them individually but there are so many. She and I danced so many times to this song. Every smile in this video helped us on this journey. Thank you to #UHSeidman and #medline . Your team was amazing.
Thank-you!! This is heavenly AWESOME!!!!As a 3x breast cancer SURVIVOR it makes me so thrilled to see so many help spread the word - to help end this disease & to help support those who help & have battled & SURVIVED!
Why isn't this more popular? It's a beautiful video. Thank you so much for making this. Three of my aunts have had breast cancer, and all have survived. This has really brightened my day. =]
This is one of my most favorite videos that I visit routinely! I think the crew at (:55) has the most creative routine of all!! (University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview). Also love the aerial view of the Thibodaux Regional Medical Center's circular run-in (1:36) I love the excitement of each and every participant, and I totally appreciate the time spent in rehearsing each routine (especially with schedules of medical personnel), and ESPECIALLY the person who edited all of this together!! Thanks so much! I've been viewing this for YEARS and I just wanted to thank you all for posting such a joyful video! What a message of hope!
Even though this says Eric (my hubby) is posting this, it's not him...it's me, Betsy. I have been watching this video sequel for YEARS!!! I love, love LOVE the original song especially, but I really love all of the various groups that were filmed in this video!! (I checked out the video by Best Day Ever in hopes of getting the lyrics there, but none are posted.) I keep this video bookmarked as a favorite so I can get the JOY daily!! I loved the VERY first Pink Dance video (from Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon) and viewed it over and over and over again (year 'round) and always shared it every September and October (for Breast Cancer Awareness month) on Facebook....THEN someone took it off TH-cam (AAAAAACCCCKKK!!! ) and replaced it with a very fuzzy/unfocused video!!! I was soooo mad! I wish the person who posted the actual original IN FOCUS Pink Dance video from 2009 (with Jay Sean's song) would re-submit it on TH-cam so I can continue to enjoy it! In the meantime, THIS is the video that I prefer to share on FB especially in Sept. and October...Love to all fellow breast cancer (and OTHER female cancers) survivors!
It really is wonderful to see how hundreds of people are able to pass what might be called a shameful moment for that help and support a cause that is more than fair. I could not help but feel a tingling in the neck when I saw so many people together for a common goal. I ask for applause for them and encourage all who are fighting this terrible disease.
AWESOME video. Our hospital is working on one now also! I'm so lucky to be a part of this, did it for my boss a co worker and my Aunt who are all survivors. Thanks ot who ever started this! It's a great thing. Our video has been posted, but it has no music right now and we're waiting for the one with all depts to be finished. Pink glove Dance~Flowers Hospital~Medical Records!
that was awesome thanks to all that helped put this together it brought tears to my eyes when i watched it i have know Meany ppl that have gone through this and some have died and some survived THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know, the 5 that i saw that dislike this, for whatever reason, you need your head checked. Health care professionals all over got together for those who have been affected by this. I am proud to call my own doctors my friends and to have an RN for a mom and a cousin. Lets hope you never get Brest Cancer, cause you will know the real reason to this video. Thank You to the poster of this video, and to the health care professionals that put it together.
i really love this video!.. im so proud that there are some filipino health workers who participated in this video. it reminds me of what our 2010-2011 midwifery batch of UNIVERSITY OF CEBU- BANILAD did this year. it was unforgettable because we were the one who did the pinning of ribbons as a awareness for the early detection of brest cancer.. =)
My mom died of breast cancer in 2005, even after having her breasts removed & treatments. I still shed many tears about it, even after all these years (2023)
Love and miss you, Lois! The videos hit me pretty hard, but I mostly come back for this song. It just works.
My FAVORITE of all the videos!! My Mom died from breast cancer in 2005. REALLY miss her.
This video really touched me. I lost my sister last October 31st to triple negative breast cancer. i wish my sister could have seen this. Thank you.
My dad works with Providence and knows the people who started the Pink Glove Dance. This for me really hits home... literally.
I cried when I saw all of the survivors dancing. It was late stage 4 when my 39 year old sister was diagnosed. They told her she may only live 6 months. She fought boldly for 3.5 years but now she is dancing in heaven. Dance on!

This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you. 1 year survivor
I cried. My mother, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2007, would have loved to dance in this video. Rock on!!
It's makes me smile, makes me cry, but, most of all, makes me feel good to be part of big caring community.
-- a cardiologist in Ohio
It's so comforting to know that I'm not dancing alone! Thanks to all who participated!
Summer 2012 will be twenty years since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thank God for Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX! They saved my life.
The videos are touching, my grandmother had it and eventually died from it but every year I do think about her when the Pink Ribbons appear and try to do at least one thing. for the record....Mr. Janitor rocks....love him!!!
I'm currently going through breast cancer treatment and it's things like this video that make me smile and know that everyday people are fighting to find a cure! I definitely know I'm not dancing alone! :o)
THIS VIDEO NEVER GETS OLD!!!!!!
I loved how at the end there were the survivors...Bless them and all those who were there with them...

Awesome. A great job done by so many caring people.
you guys are the true heroes...
enjoyed this sequel to the Pink Glove Dance, really inspirational. I myself am a survivor of breast cancer now in the 12th year.
