If you tip 30 seconds and the alcohol flows. Tipping isn't chump change. You pay to be serviced.

TLDR: Not everything is a conspiracy
The price mark ups are higher because they have to be in the busiest areas so their rent can be 50k+ a month like my old job.
I'm not sure why you mentioned the twenty to thirty wait. It doesn't happen every shift and if it does it's only one flush of 30 minutes of tickets. Humans are habitual. We can time rushes to a 20 min range because everyone goes out at the same time so you only need a second pair of hands for those 30 minutes. No point in hiring another bartender for 30 minutes. The bar manager should be on the bar for that time..

My point in the video is how bars create friction and lose money by making you wait on a drink. Not making the transaction lightning fast is a total profit killer.
For example, Amazon does everything it can to eliminate friction. "Buy now with One Click", easy returns, notifications, and much more.
The key is eliminating friction in the transaction process.

Not at those margins dude. That’s like going to McDonald’s and they sell you a burger for 50 bucks. Deserts and drinks have the highest margins.
