The positive dengue numbers in Bengaluru have risen steadily in the past months.
By June 2024, there were 1,775 new cases reported in comparison to May, when 576 cases were reported across Bengaluru.
Many of the member apartments continue to report a growing number of new cases and a high number of hospitalisations.
We must take adequate precautions to ensure the Dengue outbreak is contained quickly.
On 3rd July 2024, an intersectoral coordination Meeting was organised for the prevention & control of Dengue fever, chaired by the Chief Commissioner of BBMP along with BAF, RWAs, CREDAI and Hotel Associations.
BBMP has issued guidelines for Dengue prevention and can be accessed from www.baf.org.in....
