I worked 46 yrs as an RN 10 of those were as Hospice RN. I became a better nurse during this decade. Thankyou for all my patients and their families/friends.❤. I worked as NICU nurse, Peds ICU then adult trauma as well as a Navy Nurse. I thank God for the vocation of nursing.

My daughter is a palliative registrar doctor here in Ireland, so proud of her and the difference she makes to people at the end of their lives, its such a privilege to help ease their journey.

This is so incredibly sweet. Made me cry just listening. I’m a hospice nurse case manager and everyday of my life I feel rewarded to be caring for these amazing people.

Being a Hospice nurse is the greatest gift one person can give to another. My first patient was my mother, man we had some good fights but would not trade the experience for all the money in the world. mom was total care

Thank you. But you must know how hard it is to say goodbye to the hospice team at the end. Thank goodness I still have our hospice social worker for a few more months.❤️

That’s meeetio. When i got my husband om hospist it wasthe best few months id had in the 5 yrs and 30 plus yr of marriage to him. my husband was on hospice. I had had not support from his family. They were only all about him. I was his full time care taker and it wasnt til he got disgnosed that his kids. All, of s sudden acted like theyd had a close relationship. They tryed to fir us tongive over our money and medical info so they could put him in a care facility. U. Sure now ill never hear from them again. His family were a nightmare to me. Beware anyone who consideres marrying anyone with other ppls kids.
