My wife and I were staying in Ikebukuro in October 2019 and Tenka torimasu was the first place we got dinner the night we arrived. It's amazing. We have always joked about the amazing chicken shack and are heading to Japan next week. Will be a must have
I went to &Co for coffee and croissants and really enjoyed it. We sat inside and the vibes were very nice. The staff was a little confused because my husband and I ordered 3 croissants but it all worked out lol. Thank you for the recommendation.
omg you did ikebekuro one! thank you so much for these recommendation! 🥰 i cant wait to try them all soon! I think i will be very interested in Hachikuma Cafe (because I love cute kawaii food! they make me happy) and tsukemen in mentainikomi looks very delicious too! I also love unagi so i really want to try Izumo... do they have smaller version of the unatama donburi? because it looks so big and i am not sure i can finish them all 😅
Thank you for your request!! I hope you love them!! Unfortunately, Izumo only serve that size Unatamadon but you can order smaller Unagidon which is grilled eel rice bowl and you can order Tamagoyaki individually I guess. Shop staff will arrange some meals for you!!
Hey there iNok!! I found Fukuyoshi and Tenka Torimasu very reasonable priced!!! Only wish u knew how old the restaurants were established. Thanks!!! 👍🏻
No it's not true!! If you want to drink, you have to be over 20 years old in Japan but only eating food at Izakaya, there's no problem!! You can eat whatever you like to have👍
@@foodinjapan2256 I believe that it is because Monday is usually a slow day so that is when the chef takes a day off work. I don’t know why it has become a universal thing but it’s funny. Lol

I heard you need to be at least 20 to eat at Izumo because it's an izakaya. Anyone know if that's true?
No it's not true!! If you want to drink, you have to be over 20 years old in Japan but only eating food at Izakaya, there's no problem!! You can eat whatever you like to have👍
@@foodinjapan2256so I wrote to them on Facebook and it's true. You have to be 20 but this is because they allow smoking.
That’s a lot of chilli powder 😂 the food all looks fantastic! I love the look of that pudding, I want one now…
Habanero chili pepper is sooooo hot💦 but it was great!! pudding was marvelous!! It could be No.1 pudding in Japan🤣
Is Izumo tourist-friendly? The menu has a lot but I can't read them sadly😢
I didn't ask at that time but I thing it offers English menu👍
when did you flim this? because now the price is 2500yen
really?? which one??
@@foodinjapan2256the Unatamadon at izumo 😊
@@szhinkoszhinko5006 Wow, you're right!! I actually shared Unatamadon before, and the price is at that time so it's about a year ago.... it's my bad😭
@@foodinjapan2256 no need to apologize my friend. prices are sky rocketing everywhere. even for 2500yen i believe its still worth the price. 😁

Thank god there are subtitles
My English is not that good so😅
Thanks!!
Even in Japan, Chinese restaurants are closed on Mondays 😂
Really?? I did not even think about that!! Is that any reason to close??

@@jdubthegaymer That's a great point of view!! I have to check other Chinese restaurants too!!
@@foodinjapan2256 I know there are three by my house in Florida that all close on Mondays. Which is usually when I get hungry for Chinese food. 😂
@@jdubthegaymer I see. That's a great fact!! People get tired of working on the weekend !!
