Great performance and great song. There is something special about Yirrmal. I saw him in his first performance at the Port Fairy Folk festival. He was young. I think he was still attending school in Geelong. I am over 70 and have seen a lot of live music in my life and when I came out of that performance I was so exhilaratedI it literally felt like I was walking on air. My body felt so light on the ground it felt like I could jump 10 feet in the air. This is the only time music has ever done that to me.
I love Australia's First Nations music and culture. With love from Kyrgyzstan, Central Asia. Soon will be living in WA. I would like to learn Noon-gar, Wajduk and some other aboriginal languages and music.
