the thing i like most about this song is that its almost entirely in the yolŋu matha language and the use of the didgeridoo as the main instrument and the underlying part of this song being the roots to the culture of his people.
My younger sister had done this song for dance, and I honestly never knew BAKER BOY had sung this song until like 2-3 years ago. This is a DEADLY song!!! ❤💛🖤❤💛🖤❤💛🖤❤💛🖤
I love how he includes both the didgeridoo and modern music, I’m a Kamilaroi girl and I bloody love this 🥰🥰🥰I feel so close to my culture and I feel so confident

Thank you to the Indigenous Aussie Hip Hop industry. On wards and Upwards for continued success in the Music Industry - Rock on!
I love that I can play this for my primary kids in music lessons. A fantastic example of beat, rhythm, great lyrics and fun! The best thing is that it is sung in aboriginal language and also the parts that are in English have no inappropriate words so we can play it over and over again no problem. And I do play it over and over again! An all time favourite.

I love this song so much! and the video is awesome! Absolutely fantastic musically and so funny - I can’t stop laughing over the scene where Baker Boy dances at the end of that guy’s driveway, and the guy responds by showing off his disco moves with the garden hose. 🤣 I love the elevator scene too. Classic. I really like the incorporation of indigenous language; it really adds something beautiful and unifying. Very Australian. ❤️
