    Wow, is this the slowest they've ever played this live? Gives my Sad But True in 1996 vibes where they slowed it waayy down. Sounds excellent though!

      I’ve always loved the tempo of the 1996 mtv performance. Slow and groove. I heard in one of the comments, not sure the legitimacy of it. But, supposedly Lars is now playing to a click. So.. slowed down, good mix, good performance = the best recent version of this live since Moscow?

    I love how they are playing a bit slower. Much more heavy and badass with that tasty new guitar tone and Black Albumish snare. Massive bass as well in the mix and you get that meaty sound for this slow heavy songs. Awesome.

      Yeah I love seeing them live but often felt they played some songs way too fast. These heavy songs have more of an impact when they slow down a bit!

      I feel like they really shine when it comes to smaller gigs. Like obviously they rule the stadiums. But club gigs and small crowds take them back to the early 80s when the whole idea was to just fuck people up.

    I can't get over how INFINITELY BETTER they sound now that they are apparently playing to a click. The videos from these two shows are probably the best performances of each and every song in the last 10-15 years. They sound so tight and it's a joy to see. Lars is on point. James looking healthy. Love to see it and indeed hope to see it in person maybe next year.

      They’re for sure playing to a click since the beginning 4 count was perfectly in time which Lars usually rushes. Also the band re-entering after the pause in the solo was in time too when it’s usually random

    Heard it live in Louisville on 9/24/21. Albeit being a fan for over 30 years I went to their live for the first time and when they played Harvester of Sorrow it was simply amazing. I’ve always liked the song but never loved it until I heard it live.

Deep cut just means it’s not as known or as recognizable as their other songs (usually singles) to the general population. I’m not talking about Metallica fans or you specifically. Obviously us Metallica fans love and appreciate all (most) of metallica work which makes us an enthusiast. A lot of us appreciate the “deep cuts” more than their popular music.

      @@der_jannik_0115 Most bands don't know all of their own songs because there are a lot of songs that once they're recorded are never played again. Metallica is no exception there are songs they had to learn how to play because they never played them live like Escape.

    Urgh! God how awesome would it be to get to see Metallica at a place like this!? Just a stage and amps and people right up against a barrier ten feet from the guys. One of the best shows I ever went to was Disturbed at Cincinnati in a mid size venue. I was the 13th person through the door, and my hearing has never been the same since.

      agreed. some people say slayer is heavier than 'tallica and (although i love both bands to death) harvie is just as hard hitting as slayer's stuff. you don't need to be fast nor downtuned to be heavy

    They will be forever MEMORIALIZED AS THE GREATEST THERE’s EVER BEEN. TURNED MY 7 AND 15 YEAR OLDS ON TO THEM! My son and I got to the front of main mic 5 feet away from them. INSANE WITH STAYING POWER. Thank you for you since Garage Days, Inc. when I was 13 on over the years!!!

    I remember when the video for the song “One” came out as the first Metallica video ever back in 88-89, and people were freakin out, now we have a daily dose of this great band, and yes I love it.

    The sound in this video is superb. They are playing tight, in a smaller venue, and with a good setup, and it has been captured perfectly. Way better than a big stadium gig.

      2019 was defo a good 'Tallica year(what year isn't though, right?). Caught them at Twickenham in front of 100,000 on June 20th and to say it was a special show is a HUGE understatement.

    This is the song that got me into Metallica. I remember hearing this on the Full Metal Jacket channel on TV in my early teens (I'm 22 now), and everything about this song blew me away. Such an underrated and timeless headbanger classic.

    Seen them perform this at Lakewood In Atlanta in the early 90’s and it’s been my favorite Metallica Song ever since, it was my first concert and one of the Greatest Nights Of My Life🤘🤘🤘

    i remember being at the Pontiac Silverdome in the summer of 1988. Metallica said this was a new song of their new album. It was harvester of sorrow. My first concert was Van Halen's monsters of rock. I was there to see Metallica.

    Click track or not, Lars slowing down finally to "album speed," these performances sound good as hell. The tightness of all the guitars really cuts through the mix, and I love the guitar tone Hetfield has been using since Hardwired. Sounds damn meaty! 🔥

    Just saw these dudes at Louisville 9/26. My first time seeing Metallica and it was amazing. You can watch all the live video on TH-cam but seeing them live is something you can’t recreate. Even at their age they still rock and i got goosebumps even after hearing their songs numerous times
